Christian Dior - The Campaign Archive

I like the old Dior ads, and also the ones Kate did in the 90's, but I don't like the latest ones she did...

I'd love to see old perfume advertisements, does anyone have them?

WhiteLinen, which ads, from about when? Anyway, I found some ad composites at ebay.

I think the ads with Gisele are gorgeous. These are the first that come to my mind when I think of Dior.

Here are the best Chrsitian Dior pictures EVER
Muuuuch better than Galliano's crap-trash-pornochic-ethno-techno-bimbo ads

Who are the Asians in those Karen ads?

And please refrain from posting all the pictures in a row, it makes viewing them extremely difficult.

Well, I tend to agree with you, the sluts'r'us fashionista trend is lingering on far after its best before date. There are ways to be sexy/alluring without being lubed up in truckloads of slime or other bodily-fluid-like props

But I guess I'd like to stop half-way at the 40s and 30s-inspired 70s, where I think the greatest Dior ads of all time were produced. Actually, the best ads ever, bar none. I do hope I'll find some time to scan some more. They are so lovely

Thank you for the amazing images (but I will have to remove them unless you can find a source due to tFS policy) :flower: Btw, do you know if they're ads specifically? I'm asking because I just started thinking about when the first clothing lines were advertised in mags.

:flower: I've searched for the link and found it!

I don't think those pictures are AD, they are "presentations" of the very firsts Chrsitian Dior Haute Couture collections, by the man himself (1947)
What is fabulous is that i have friends who wear gloves and hats like that, today, 2006, more than 50 years after B) I admit I absolutely love it, it's not retro, it's timeless
