Christina Ricci

G O R G E O U S!!!! I wasn't crazy about the new bangs with her hair longer....but with the cute pixie bob, they are PERFECT.

I wouldn't have gone to see a Speed Racer movie....but with Christina Ricci as Trixie I will FOR SURE. ^_^

That cut is adorable. It is the most flattering to her face shape that I have ever seen on her. :)

oooh the 20's flapper har style is just sooooooooooooo fabulous. She suits it so well!

I agree with everyone else it seems! That hair looks so sleek and classy, love it :D

On another note, in the third pic of her with adam (where they are hugging) the bird tattoo adam has on his wrist looks quite similar to one she has....matching tattoos maybe?? or am i seeing things that aren't there again........:blush:

The Penelope actress showed off shoulder-length locks earlier this year, only to debut a '20s-style banged bob to a Munich film festival this week.

has anyone seen her in prozac nation?was it any good?

I saw it, it's really powerful. She's nothing like herself, totally ingrossed inside the character (as usual really). She's incredible in it....the movie is haunting and stays with you...just nothing typical about it. Feels like you dropped into somebody's world for a few hours. Everyone will have a different opinion on it though, films are pretty personal, the experience of watching it and what you'll get out of it. But it's special, it's really something else. It looked like her emotions were rubbed till they were raw....soaked her soul in tears. What a ride that must of been.

I liked Prozac Nation. Though the end was very Prozac adverticing. Havn't read the book though *pokes self*

i thought both the movie and the book were incredibly off putting with the amount of self-indulgence and narcissism. it wasn't powerful or profound in the least for me; rather, it displayed such a potent amount of vanity and self-importance that i was entirely disgusted.
the book came out around the same time as the book 'girl, interrupted,' which was much better, both in terms of narrative and insight, than 'prozac nation.'
even christina ricci, who is so adorable, couldn't bring about any empathy for the protagonist... the harmatia level was sub-zero.

Not denying those qualities in the protagonist.....but the fact that she got that across is incredible and a great acting achievement. To give all to someone who it must not have been fun to play, and she admitted it being one of the most difficult times of her life filming that film. That's why it was incredible for me, to see her lost in this person...who is not the typical likeable character. It was powerful in its honesty, it wasn't a typical choice of film or role. It was such a rollercoaster to watch, it rises all sorts of emotions and feelings, whether disgust or not. But it does. I'm someone who's been fascinated and passionate about film and the whole acting conept my whole life, so from that point of view...I did love the film. I loved the disgust and annoyance and everything else that came with it cause it was honest...and brave.

thank you all for your opinions.i just watched it ! and well,i actually preferred it to girl, interrupted.it was more real to me and more honest.girl interrupted was too hollywood-ized for my liking.i'm surprised this film didnt have a larger audience and was only released on dvd.writing was good, performances were very strong.both ricci and lange.nd u can see michelle wiliams coming into her ow.directing is very week and script sometimes too fragmented, but the acting tops it all:)
