She looks cute but I'm not sure I like the light brown hair.

Chanel bags?

I read somewhere (ages ago) that Christina collects vintage Chanel bags, if I remember correctly. Not sure if it's only 2.55s or different models though.

And actually I'm not even sure if I remember this correctly at all!
Anyone else knows?

I'd love to see pics of her with Chanel bags too, so if you've seen any, post them please!

I think she's cool, and I think her weight suits her perfectly right now.

Get The Look

Christina Ricci continues to live up to the hype of emerging style icon. The tiny yet powerful actress was the picture of style and sophistication in her recent cover shoot for C Magazine. Mark Townsend was the man on deck to create her ultimate sleek chic hair.
Christina’s hair is straight to begin with so that gives her an advantage in wearing this style. The layers in the front add to the drama of the look (in case you’re looking to try a new cut yourself), but Mark assured us, this is something we all can tackle.

Mark’s step-by-step:
1. “First, Mark said: “ I used Matrix Vavoom Volumizing Foam in her wet hair and using a big round brush, gave her a blow out everywhere except for her bangs” to give her hair body.

SPECIAL NOTE:
To keep Christina’s bangs from getting too much lift or curve and to give them that chic, straight look, Mark used a Mason Pearson brush instead of the round brush on her fringe.

2. Second Mark used one of his most favorite products: The Vavoom Gold Heat Iron-in Control Protective Dry Mist from Matrix to give her hair the beautiful shine. “I took 3 inch sections of Christina’s hair and spayed each section with the Vavoom Gold Heat. This product has this beautiful gold color in it and is a great heat protector. I never leave home without it. It’s what makes the hair so incredibly shiny. Using a ceramic flat iron, I went over each section of hair from mid-shaft down, staying away from the top part of her hair to keep the body in the root.”

“That is really it,” explained Mark. It’s all about great products and tools. A simple blow dry for lift, a great ceramic iron and the right product to achieve that all over shine. “I didn’t use any finishing products in her hair because I wanted to make sure that it moved.”

We love it! So simple, yet so sophisticated. We can’t wait for our next big night out, in fact, we might just have to wow the office on Monday.
