she's amazing! I wish there were more like her now... it seems like all the models look the same.

It's the top model forum on fansofrealitytv.com :flower:

By Michael Thompson as part of 'White'.

Don't recall where I got it originally, but it's at csla-daily too.

I think it is silly to be offended by people who think she is mixed. Just because she is pure FRENCH does not mean she is pure BLACK. Yes the colonies are both french but there is no way that there is no white or latino ancestry in her, even if her parents are very dark skinned.
Agreed.
I think it's silly when black people label someone who's only part black as "black". Obviously, Chrystelle wouldn't look as white as she does if she were simply "black". The only black thing about her appearance is her afro. She's white-skinned, light-eyed, and her facial features are delicate. If she had thin hair, she'd look like an ordinary white woman.

If she herself identifies as black because that's an idiosyncrasy from her country, then that's her business.

Well, really, that notion was constructed by white people, not Blacks. And in many countries in the West, very few Black people are simply "Black" ... most of us have some other racial diversity at some point in the bloodline.

There so many so called white-skinned, light-eyed black people in this world and they're considered black. This is a major issue within the Afro- American communities that a light skin black can pass because some Caucasian deemed them acceptable to be white.

Anyway, I don't want to drift off my reason of responding to your quote, but what are delicate features?

Okay, most of these words, and the ideas behind them? Trash. But then, that's ignorance, white supremacy, and destructive cultural values rearing their ugly heads. The connotations are vile.

Not nearly as pretty as Ms. Augustin. Like so:
