Most Overpriced Designer?

The prices of those Margiela Tabi boots nowadays, like double the prices of Dries boots and Lemaire's

i think margiela was surprisingly not too expensive a few years back specially for how detailed some of their propositions were. But i guess now they are more or less priced as they should.

I think the problem with the twins is that they don't have the double C logo to charge that price when you can order exactly the same thing for less than 10 bucks everywhere that no one can tell the difference. I guess the value is the small characters "The Row Made in Italy" on the sole which is also the ultimate irony of high fashion nowadays.

I respect their hustle. If you can get people to pay that much money for flip-flops, good for you.

It's ridiculous ! At least put it in leather or something. I wonder if there are people dumb enough to buy them.

I would rather believe it is one of the Sarkozy brother's money laundering project than the reinvent of Marie Antoinette of our time. It is capitalism in its prime.

MK had a terrible divorce from him.
As for the prices, they didn't do it overnight. When they started this high fashion line, everyone laughed at them because they remembered those teenage supermarket licenses they had. They are just 100% businesswomen, they want to get the most out of their customers, without any scruples, and because customers like to waste money. I have a far friend who once said that when she spends money, she feels alive. This type of product is aimed at people who use shopping to improve their well-being. Whether it is ethical is another matter, after all, the product is worth as much as the customer is willing to pay...

Still overpriced, but those sandals are $690 in the States, so an equivalent would be €630? Maybe I'm stupid, why the €220/35% surcharge in whichever country you're shopping?

VAT would lead to such a significant jump? Craziness.
