Chunky Chain Necklaces

I've seen more and more celebrities starting to wear chain necklaces.

I love chain necklaces too, especially the way Kate wears them..thick and chunky.
I dont like that Nicole Ritchie is wearing them though, she looks too styled with long necklaces.

I like Nicole but it looks way too contrived on her. I think they look best in dusky gold because then they have a vintage feel. I also think now Nicole has one Lindsay Lohan will soon have it, then Jessica S and before you know it it will be another grey skinny jeans type epidemic, and this is a very hard thing to pull off....only for the Kate's of this world.

ditto, they look very cheap and tacky... prolly vintage but sucky vintage nonetheless. she obviously doesn't know how to choose good vintage jewelry.

i quite like the chunky necklaces kate's been wearing but much prefer something like this:

actually i have a brass chain belt from the 20s that's almost the same with rounder links only i've worn it to death.
