I you can't tell by now, Claire is one of my favorite stars. Not only is she an intelligant woman and a talented actress, but I find her a refresing break from a lot of the other "young hollywood startlets". Her talent and intelligence sets her apart, but so does her unique, unconventional beauty. She seems to recognize that it's her generous features, and her slight imperfections that make her face stand out from the crowd. She not like Jessica Simpson (just as an example) who commands attention from the moment she walks in a room. Claire is like the girl who you look at second, but keep looking at because her face is so interesting. Plus I for one am glad that she hasn't gone the way of boob jobs and anorexia. She also chooses interesting and challenging film roles in smaller indie films (Igby Goes Down, Stage Beauty, It's All About Love, Polish Wedding) and once in a while mixes it with more mainstream stuff (Terminator 3) and stuff in between (Little Women, Romeo + Juliet, The Rainmaker, Brokedown Palace). And in terms of her style she's a risktaker, IMO. She was one of Narciso Rodriguez's and Zac Posen's 1st celebrity claints, and she's not a slave to trends. She chooses stuff that reflects her personality: offbeat, quirky, different, interesting and intelligent. And I read that she doesn't even use a stylist.
