I'm watching the film now for the 349343835th time and we need a thread. This film is classic. Talk about the film, its soundtrack, the fashion or even the TV show (which was good, but was nothing without Alicia and Brittany!).

:flower:

I was soooo young when this movie came out (WTF I just IMDB'd it and I was friggin EIGHT years old) but I still remember watching it with my best friend at the time and we just couldn't wait till we would start high school hahah
sighhhh what I would give to go back in time.

This was one of my favorite flicks when I was a kiddo! And until now, I still want that computer operated outfit selector. Hee hee! :D

^same here! i remember having the clueless poster up in my room.

FANTASTIC FILM! I really like watching it actually, so good.
I love the bit, where Dion takes her first driving lesson and the Truck comes behind her

I was in school when this came out and the effect it had on how girls dressed was like an over-night sensation.

Hands down, one of my top 5 favorite movies of all time! It has a really special place in my heart... ^_^ I loved it so much since I was little. I still watch it to this day and love it all the same! Clueless is the ultimate teen movie ^_^

 I just remembered the pens we used to have with the pink furry thing on top like Cher used in the movie!

^ ah i love in the movie when she's playing with that pen. so cute!
this is a classic movie. and it's a sign of a movie that i really love when we study it in class and it doesn't kill it for me.
my favourite was all of cher and dionne's outfits! the plaid, the knee socks, the boxy coats, extravagant hats and platform shoes... so 90s!

I agree, I hate it when I have to study a film and we keep watching it over and over again. I now skip the opening to Saving Private Ryan because I've seen it too many times!

I love when Travis Birkenstock sees his test grade and goes to the window.

I've been watching this movie for well over 10 years now (like many others, I was a kid back when I first saw it)

The best part of it is that a lot of the things in it you can't really get when you're 10 years old, so for the generation of kids that were around when it came out, it hasn't gotten old because you only start to understand it years later. I mean that part in P.E class when they're playing tennis and Amber says "my plastic surgeon doesn't want me doing anything where balls fly at my nose" and Dionne says "well there goes your social life", what 10 year old could possibly get how funny that really is?

Honestly, this film was probably the first thing that got me interested in fashion.

Yeah, I was 9 when it came out and I think I saw it over the next two years and I found it to be so enjoyable, but I didn't get much of it. I now watch it all the time and I happily get all the jokes!

^^i love watching clueless now, and laughing at all the things i never got when i was just a kid.

i agree, clueless is the movie that got me interested in fashion. i wanted platforms, and knee socks, and berets and mini skirts and all that like cher did. She was so cute as well, alicia silverstone was perfect in the role! And my favourite favourite part ever is;

cher; this is an alaia!
mugger; an a whata?
cher; it's a totally important designer!
mugger; *pause* and i will totally shoot you in the head!
cher; *whines*

love it!!!

I never knew what an Alaia outfit was. I also didn't know what Cliff's Notes were until I googled it because we don't have them here.

It's amazing how a lot of Cher's outfits still hold up today. I still remember all the outfits.

I love the outfit she was wearing when she came out and took a bow at the lunch court because everyone was applauing her for getting their grades improved. The beret with the cute coat and knee socks was so awsome. Of course I love the yellow plaid skirt and cardigan. I love the outfit she wore on her first date with Christian with the Calvin Klien wrap. I basically loved all Cher's outfits. The stylists must have used all their ideas on her because everyone else's outfits bordered on ridiculous, especially Amber's.

the best movie ever!!!!!!!!!!!!:heart::heart: i´ve watched this movie 10000000time:ninja::wub:

I Love Alicia  , she's so beautiful, probably my favorite nineties girl.
But im not into 90s fashion and i think some of the clothes in this movie are.. tacky :D.

Never knew there was a thread for Clueless! It's definitely in my top 3 of my all time favorite movies, too. And I feel the urge to go watch it right now. It's epic!

My favorites scene is when they do the makeover with Tai. Brittany Murphy was sooooo adorable in that movie. I loved her so much in it. The scene of her being alone at that party where she ends up dancing with Josh is so awkwardly cute, too. The cast in general was absolutely brillant. I don't think there's ever been another movie with such amazing casting. Every character was lovable in one way or another.

I agree about the timeless fashion in the movie. I would seriously wear everything Cher is wearing in it. Their style was nowhere near as cringeworthy as BH90210 et al.

ETA: Also LOVE the scene where Cher is trying to seduce Christian and she fails so miserably

Loved this movie!
I remember seeing Brittany Murphy so...well clueless besides the gorgeous Alicia. Poor thing, Brittany.

I absolutely adore this movie, it´s one of my guiltiest pleasures, I never miss it when it´s on TV. Along with Legally Blonde, it´s like mind candy. when I watch them I´m 12 again.
