I want to know your favorite trends from Coachella 2016! My favorite it circle shaped sunglasses. Kendall Jenner, Ashley Benson, Chanel Iman... everyone was sporting these shades!

Mark and Estel have a half off coupon (50MEL) so I'm going to go grab a pair John Lennon style www.markandestelshop.com

Where is your favorite place to shop trends?

I have to laugh ... not at you choice, because they are cool.

But ... I'm an old lady ... by most tFSer's standards ... and I remember Woodstock ... where the boho festival look got it's origin, I would say. Other than the total nudity ... festival fashion hasn't changed much at all.

The round sunnies? John Lennon sported those in the 60's so it became a huge fad (although they we much smaller lenses in thos days). The jean shorts, cut off or otherwise were there. halter tops and long dresses, flared and flowered pants ... yep, we wore them too. The gladiator sandals, the fringed bags (I had one, too), the gauze tops tied under the bust ... been there, done that. The flowers in the hair, paint on the face, ethnic jewelry .... all 60's stuff and all seen at Woodstock.

Not sure I have a favorite look ... probably because I've seen most of it before. :flower::heart:

Wouldn't that be nice? total nudity .. or at least people at their weirdest behavior. Though that would probably end up becoming an even more obnoxious Burning Man version, yikes. I do think it's funny the "Coachella style" thing because I've never really seen it when I've been there... the festival is split (well, more like 80% versus 20% by now) between the people that care about the lineup and aspiring starlets or just the usual fame-hungry crowd who are just there to peacock/network and get some exposure. They're also the only ones in that "boho" style, the people not photographed because they're too busy watching bands dress pretty normal imo.

I honestly think FYF has taken over Coachella.. in terms of relevance (people, music, location [dtla]). Might sound like a crazy idea, but I really think it's time for Coachella to come to an end before the format gets too sad.. I mean.. the awful lineups, the gimmicks, the two weekends, the people.. time to wrap it up while there are still good things in it.

Thanks for sharing and welcome to the Fashion Spot!

These looks are definitely suitable for Coachella/any hot weather music festival ... but there is nothing unusual or trend setting here. There is two ways to look at it ... you can wear the "traditional" looks ... or you can try to set new trends.

If Vanessa is "Queen of Coachella", I think that she is the perfect person to start some new trends ... not just rehashing to same old/same old (as I said ... the same looks from back in the 60's and 70's). I'd actually love to see something different .....

I do like the glasses in the first picture (don't recognise the girl), but, as a rule, festival style is horrible.
