Comme des Garçons Homme Plus F/W 2023.24 Paris

I love this collection so much. Rei is at her best when she combines her radical experiment with impeccable tailoring techniques. And her choices in fabrics and textiles are always superior.

I love the stripes tailoring section, they're so good, (Thom Browne wishes he was this good). And look 28 hybrid coat is totally a dream. The fur fringes cutout is very eye-catching.

I always prefer her men's line because it's the perfect balance between experiment and wearability not just a parade of sculptures like her women nowadays.

I don’t know what type of boy this is supposed to be like, but I reckon it’s a boy that I’d rather not be around.

I could do without the t*t sleeves, but I also want to know if they're actually functional. The way they're pattern made implies they have shoulder ease and shaping. It would have been more effective if they were actually worn as the sleeves with the original sleeves hanging off or swinging back like some abstract kimono sleeve.

And I agree with @THD96, the men's collections are always far more interesting with the experimentation compared to the women's. They're also far more fleshed out with variety, which is surprising because usually it's the other way around.

I’m also very into this collection, I don’t totally oppose the fantasy of her womenswear but it’s necessary to have one foot in reality and her menswear is exactly that.

I love the looks in candy colored plaid. The fascinating construction of those zippers bisecting the front panels and her use of cutouts. The pink and baby blue looks are also ace.
