Comme Des Garcons - Guerrilla Stores

Lots of GS!! I like it a lot!!I hope to continue that way and even stronger!!
I think that this will be the first time that almost ten GS will be occpied..am i right?

Thanx nqth for the GS +852 photos!! You should see the silly thing blog, it's really nice but unfortunately i dont know chineese :( it has also some yumee things from UC( second favourite designer)...:))))

Even if we know the new city, i think we should keep it a suprise indeed, as we have to respcet the GUERRILLA ritual and the owners wish to keep it secret until it will be officialy announced...

I'm always begging for a Sydney store...

Actually, I am shocked that there isn't one. Is CDG well-distributed there?

P.S. Basel?! CDG in Switzerland, hmmm...

Yeah, that's true... I was mostly continuing the lines of stereotypes that polkadot started - don't exactly think of Swizterland in correlation with "guerrila" and CDG aesthetic in general...

faust, CdG is hardly known here. Probably only with art students and people who appreciate art and design in general. So far I probably only know about 2 or 3 stores that stocks it and the stuff they have is unimpressive.

Not to mention there's alot of SHIRT stuff, which isn't bad but too commercial and doesn't portray the image of the brand so well. Yes along with that the prices are also outrageous.

However I do think there are some areas in this city that would totally suit the G image.

I ve been only once time in Swizterland for a day and i asked someone if there a shop that stock CdG and he replied "What is that?" i continued with a question like Undercover maybe? the same answer...

But you never know, and here was the same before the GS, only three very well estamblished stores stock CdG and PERFUMES and they are so oooooooverprised!!

The Glasgow store is going to be a grave mistake, nobody in this town spends any money. Then add it's severly out-of-town location and you're looking at a car crash.

Are you from Glasgow? The GUERRILLA STORES are not so expensive, they have some expensive thing but they also some very cheap like a t-shirt with 35eu, or shoes with 60eu also there are the perfumes the highest price is 80eu...you think that people there will not spent that money?

In Glasgow?! I'm in shock after reading a familliar name after seeing so many exotic overseas fashionable sounding places the guerilla stores have been in. Nonetheless, I shall definitely be taking a trip, especially considering the fact that by the sound of things, the price range of the guerilla stores is much lower than that of the normal storesB) Anyone one know when it ends? or is that part of the unexpectedness?

Yes, I am.

Those prices seem a little more accessible. The location of the store is very out of the way, even I currently don't know how to get there, they aren't doing themselves any favours. My point is that they won't be making the sort of money that they would in Manchester for example, people don't have the money up here and if they do they want people to know about it (Large logos etc).

The only line that you can see the logo of CdG written uppon the clothes is SHIRT and PLAY and only in a few pieces. CdG has a very specific style - no logos on clothes.

Every GS is "hidden" somewhere not only in Glasgow, this the GUERRILLA psilosophy and that counts also for the CdG shops. As far as I know it is not going to be only a GS there but a hole happening with artists etc. something like Athens @ Bios. so it might be well known in a few months or less.

There are H+ blk jkts, some years ago, with big, blk, "oily" CdG Homme Plus text printed onto the upper front, over the lapels. The lettering is just superb. I want those:-))
