Nepotism be damned, Donald Trump has a new apprentice.
The real estate mogul/reality star and his model wife, Melania Knauss welcomed a son Monday in New York. It's the first child for couple, who married last year, and the fifth child overall for Trump.
Which means that Ivanka's inheritance just took another hit.
The proud papa wasted no time in getting the word out on his new heir.
Just 20 minutes after the birth, Trump phoned in to MSNBC's Imus in the Morning to share the nursery news.
"Everyone's perfect," Trump reported in his unmistakably humble way. "[Melania's] very happy and it's really great."
The 59-year-old also claimed that the newborn babe was already making him feel younger.
"I continue to stay young, right? I produce children, I stay young," he said.
According to Trump, the new parents have not yet decided on a name for the tyke--and none of his vital statistics have been released.
Knauss spent nearly eight hours in labor before delivering the latest Trump, beginning in the wee hours of the morning, her hubby said.
The Slovenian model-actress announced her pregnancy last September, and had since stayed mum on details of both the child's sex and her due date.
Knauss first met her billionaire developer hubby six years ago. After living together for three years at the illustrious Trump Towers, the duo tied the knot in January 2005 in a lavish, star-studded Palm Beach ceremony.
The as yet unnamed babe makes a quintet for Trump, who just last week reiterated that the newborn likely would not be his last. He has four children from two previous marriages: Donald Jr., Ivanka and Eric from his marriage to Ivana Trump, and Tiffany from his marriage to Marla Maples.
But as for this go round, the Donald may have found a way out of diaper duty. He's getting ready to film the sixth season of The Apprentice, which for the first time ever will be filmed entirely in Southern California.
And there's no word whether this will hamper any baby-bonding sessions. Last January, Knauss told People magazine that she planned on staying close to home for the first few months after giving birth.
