Converse - The All-Things 'Converse Sneakers/Trainers' Thread

im desperately looking for a pair of low white leather converse. i had seen them in london and didnt buy them cause.... i dont even know why. now i regret it cause i absolutely WANT them and they're nowhere to be found.
plus the converse site is giving me lots of trouble to buy stuff. ill try again tomorrow.
anyway here they are:

converse.com

^ The white leather ones are fab! Come to think of it I've never seen them either :(

At the moment I have low black ones and high beige ones, both canvas. :)

I'm craving purple high-tops.. but my mother hates Converse shoes. Everytime I wear mine she begs me to get rid of them.

I think they're comfortable, easy to wear, and (the non white/black ones) a splash of colour.. I wear a lot of black clothes during winter, and my red low-tops always lighten things up.

Hmmm I'm thinking about getting white/beige canvas ones, but I was wondering, do they get dirty really easily? I like mine to look used, but I wouldn't like my white converse to look an ugly dirty brown or something

^I have the beige ones, and I only really have a problem with them looking dirty if I've been out in the rain in them. But you can put them in the washing machine with no problems, and they still look good. I love my red converse, but my favourites are the beige/white ones, they're classic and go with everything ^_^:flower:

^No problem  I hope you get the ones you want

I totally agree with this Stella...sometimes it's the only colour I wear

am I the only one who doesn't think Converse are comfortable?
They are always hurting my toes and my heel when i walk in them.. so i've stopped wearing them :p I find it suprising that people calls these the most comfortable shoes ever.

They hurt a bit the first one or two days I wear them (actually my black ones still have a little red mark inside on the back of the shoe because they hurt me and it bled) , but then they become the most comfortable shoes I have :p

stersita: I've had a pair of optical white (the REALLY white ones) high-tops since August and they still look great. Sure, I haven't worn them everyday but at least once a week. You can just laundry them and they'll be fresh again.

About the comfort, well, they're not the most comfortable shoes ever (what shoes are?) but, for me, I've never had any problems with Converse. I've been using Converse shoes weekly since I bought my first pair in '03. That must say something about them..

i dont like converse trainersa at all. maybe i am the only one then :)
they look cute on some men tough..

yayyy! finally found the white leather ones online!
im ordering them right now

i own like 10 pairs in many colours and i love them. they're cheap and i buy like 3 each season and wear them until they tear apart. moscow is so dirty that when wearing designer shoes i feel like an idiot and money-waster lol *i do own several but wear on certain occasions only*

This has been bothering me for the longest time, so if anyone knows I would be very grateful. When I was in Paris, it seemed like all the girls there were wearing dark brown 2 tone leather Converse. They looked like they were hi-tops. It seemed like every other girl there was wearing them! Anyone have any ideas as to what model, make? Are they hi or just boots? I've been looking for them for the longest time.

Black, Red and Green are the ultimate converse colors. Converse can look quite stylish if you wear it right, besides that - they're way comfy.

Good bump. ^_^

Converse in black usually go with everything, low or high tops.

I even pulled them off in dress clothes. Give you an edge!
