^ I have no idea, but I think they're quite tacky.... :ninja:

I know a girl who rolls her Converse in dirt when she has a new pair....

ohoh, how much i hate that
not because i care about their sneakers but because it's annoying how they think they're so cool because they have dirty shoes without realizing all 'cool' kids do the same.

on contradiction, i have admit i myself do not like new-looking sneakers

It's funny your saying that, because most people I know who are hardcore Chuck fans are often heard complaining how expensive they've gotten. They used to be 30$ and now they highered the price to 60$ and plus tax it's around like 70$ which is pretty expensive, in my opinion..... :ninja:

In the UK its £30 and the ankle boot style are £35, thats cheap in comparison with other trainers/(sneakers as Americans call 'em!) But now high street stores and catalogues are copying the Converse, such as Topshop and La Redoute, and they are only £15. Now thats dirt cheap....Next it will be Priceless Shoes and Shoe Depot:lol:   (If you are a Brit you'll know what I mean!)

I agree too...they look good with jeans and trousers only...and imo skinny ones. I think they're kind of cute.

oh, and cropped pants are trousers that only come down to the middle of the calf. :flower:

thank you for explaining :flower: I think I need a special fashion english dictionary  it is really difficult to find all these words in normal dictionaries ...

just luv them...though i wear only white (well better to say ivory colour) ones...they just match with everythin

Same here. That just annoys me.

I like new sneakers/shoes/whatever. I don't understand the appeal of worn out stuff  , unless there's an obvious "distressed" design. Otherwise, I don't understand why anyone would want to wear beat up, dirty clothes?

haha, don't even ask. You look around and some kids think because they have dirty torn jeans and vintage style t shirts from urban outfitters....... They think they can buy the whatever punk rebel dirty homeless or whatever image....

it's sad but entertaining..........

I love Converse and I always have. I like leopard and plaid converse especially. What bugs me is that people are doing it now because its in magazines, and they all claim how unique it is.

i got some all black ones from an army store for £6 i actually like them better because they arent as chunky:heart:

My brother found some X-Hi Camo ones in TK Maxx for £20, which isn't too bad.

Even better i found some white jack purcell ones for £1.99 a few years ago, they were in a size 3, which was good as i was only a kid with small feet. Also in tk maxx
