haha i normally love cory, but i get exactly what you are saying. its really true. her personal style is great esp for a 16 year old, but now shes trying to pull it off like shes such an intellect, and her blog is a great example of this. She name drops and has extreme ADD, and then one day after having a conversation with Sean Lennon about different philosophies and politics she talked about how much she hated people who went clubbing just to get their picture taken. Not to mention the fact that she said her ambition is molding youth culture. i love cory's pictures and style, but she needs to stop talking like a scholar- in -the -making haha.

i think you said it well-people resond to and her cobrasnake pics, the very dirtyness/mess/sewer rat thing that she has is what interests people. but when she moves beyond that and pretends to be so into social issues etc it appears extremely "put on".

I used to like Cory's style in the beginning of the cobrasnake, back in de day when she wasn't as popular as she is now. Every now and then she wears something not as sloppy as her usual do , for example the picture where she's wearing a Jeremy Scott top. She looked really good with a little make-up.

I'm not really worked up about it, well who knows, its irritating. I checked her blog once and it was just all name drop, name drop, boring, boring...and then I started to hear all of this stuff.

Maybe its because I'm also experimental with fashion in the same type of crowd as Ms. Kennedy yet beating myself up at UToronto with a Peace and Conflict degree....geeh I wish I could just affect youth culture the way that Corey Kennedy goes about it, but personally, I don't find it very crediable and respectable.

Her style interests me, even she does, but as the other person who commented, her as this youth mantra...does not, and will not, if she goes about it in this manner.
