I know that I can't trust any product to dry fast enough or work effectively enough from N.Y.C.

I know I can always trust Rimmel London for great eyeliner pencils and fast-drying nail polish in fantastic colors.

Which companies do you rely because each section of cosmetics the company produces consistently succeeds in working well?

Diorshow is the mascara I always use. It's $29 yet works well.
Rimmel London has a great gold eyeliner.
Petites makes the best colors but unfortunately, the worst polish to wait to air dry.
Goodie makes the best brand of ouch-less hair ties.

:flower:

Evian Mineral Water Spray. Very reliable in every way I must say.

And pure generic rose water. Not a brand, but a miracle from nature.

Helena Rubinstein for mascaras and concealers.
MAC for blushes and highlighters.
Chanel for eyeshadows and powders.
Guerlain for eyeshadows and bronzing products.

I trust MAC for lip stuff, eyeshadow, some eyeliners, and blush/baked products. I trust Avon for mascara and a good cheapy lipstick, I trust Dior for mascara as well, OPI and Essie for nail polish, Sephora Brand for good cheap eyeliners, and Urban Decay for some eye stuff.

Most brands sold at a drugstore I will not even touch with gloves.

Armani make up do the best for mascara and eye concealer. The foundation also has very good result. Eye shadows from Guerlain, and try new Armani make palette..

I love blue eyeliner from YSL, nice blue tone colour.

All my blushes are by MAC. They have fantastic nailpolishes, too.
For concealer I use Touche Eclat and nothing but Touche Eclat by YSL, plus I love their lipglosses and lipsticks.
My one and only mascara is Phenomen'eyes by Givenchy.
Nearly all my nailpolishes are by Chanel. They do not last very long, but the colours are always gorgeous.

If in doubt, I buy YSL. I have never been let down by any of their products. I have ceased to buy anything from Dior except for my make-up. I think sometimes the quality is more than lackluster.

- NARS for lipstick and lip lacquer.
- Laura Mercier for eyeshadow.

Other brands I check out regularly are MAC, Shu Uemura and YSL.

NARS, for just about everything. I worship their products.
Once in a while MAC, but not so much anymore.

I prefer Dior for nailpolish- I have about 6 of their colors. Their topcoats and basecoats work fabulously!

Great thread! Here are the brands I usually rely on:

High-end/pharmacy brands:

Clarins - I think it's my favorite high-end brand ever, none of their products I owned disappointed me, love their Everlasting foundation, Anti-Eau body oil, Blush Prodige blushes, Wonder Perfect mascara, my mom also uses a lot of their products and swear by Lip Perfector lipgloss
MAC - blushes (esp. the mineralize range), most of the brushes, lipsticks.
Guerlain - Les Violettes loose powder, Le 2 de Guerlain Mascara, my mom loves their Skin Lingerie foundation
L'Occitane - hand creams & Almon Shower Oil
Bioderma - face cleansers (Sensibio & Hydrabio range)
As for pharmacy brands, I also can recommend Caudalie, Avene and Nuxe, I owned many of their products and the quality is amazing and they don't irritate my skin.

Drugstore brands:

Inglot - eyeshadows. they're just the best, nothing can beat them
Essie - nail polishes
NYX - almost everything - good quality for a ridiculously low price
Essence - same as NYX, love their "trend editions" and cream eyeshadows

Base and lipsticks from Chanel and Tom Ford
Colors (Blushes, eyeshadows..) from MAC
Skincare from Dermalogica
Masks from Lush

Chanel as a makeup-brand overall really. Foundations, powders, blushers, eyeshadows, mascaras, lipsticks, nail varnishes... There hasn't been a lot of products I've bought from them that I've not loved to bits! Plus L'Occitane and Kiehl's are brands I always go back to when it comes to skincare, bodycare and haircare.

L'Occitane : Shaving creams and Aftershave Balms
Murad : Day Moisturiser
Dermalogica : Body Wash/Cleansers
Aveda : Face Stuff
Laneige : Night Face Stuff
Ren : Serums
