So Pretty! Such a great idea for summer, it's kind of like a softer more girly punk look.
I love the pale purple and the red/green ones the best! I have that faded out red right now and have been wanting to do something different, adding some green would really punch it up and be different!

I'd go for cotton candy pink or lilac if I was going for pastel hair. I love the purple Kinga has in that editorial. It reminds me of Stormy from Rainbow Brite.

or a small section of pastel pink like Rachel McAdams had for awhile?

really hard to kee up ... i had my platinum dyed lilac/lavender and it seriously would fade so fast. gone in almost two weeks. now i have cotton candy pink which is lasting longer.

kelly osbourne has amazing lilac hair now.

i also love the valentino ads this season where the model has purple hair.

I would never suit lilac or blue. Boo. But I am so tempted to go a peach or salmony colour.

I'll stop soon, promise. Its turning into quite the obsession!

I love this! I would love to give this a go one day. Deborah if you've orange hair now then I think peach seems like a good option to go for.

I know but I am scared the lightness won't suit me and/or my hair will give up and fall out in protest.

There is only one way to find out if it suits you or not ;) Maybe you could do what Meg suggested and just do some sections to start with? To get used to the colour

Rachel McAdams did this a few years back with pink. It was bright at first but then it faded to a pastel pink.

Yeah that what I was thinking but I don't know if sections would look good with my hair colour, this is my hair

That said I am poor right now anyways.....

The problem with naturally orange hair is that it bleaches really badly and only seems to go yellow because we have higher levels of keratin in our hair or something. So, be careful, you might just end up with a vicious shade of yellow.
Just a warning from somebody who ended up with sunshine yellow hair.
What about putting in pastel extensions in segments?
