I don't like the cover, but the ed's pretty nice. Sjödin is good, especially at location shoots like this, great use of color. I like most of his stuff... hope he keeps improving.

thanks! Theres only two editorials in the whole issue? I guess thats reasonable considering its the July/August issue. Does anyone know why magazines make their summer issues so small?

Yeah... Cover is a pretty thin mag, though. This issue's really not smaller than usual, I think, it's just that the Sjödin ed's about the size of three normal eds.

Summer issues are thinner because July, especially, is a really slow month. It's in between seasons and thus hard to attract advertisers. The same applies for January. So usually you either get very thin "J" issues (June's not great either), or the mag opts for double issues for July/Aug and Dec/Jan.

I completely agree when I bought this issue this morning I definitely though, man what a heavy issue considering the great content it has I wasn't mad that there are only two editorials!
