Do they do one every two years or just when they feel like it?

They do it when models are worth to be honoured like that. Don't see another issue happening this year, the 2009 one was already wrong.

i have to disagree with this. anna doesnt do thing out of nowhere. those models who appeared on model covers were heavily featured in vogue us b4 they got picked to be on the cover. just think about daria, raquel, lya, natalia, gemma, stam etc. they were in a lot of eds b4 they got chosen to be on the cover.

ale, adriana, miranda is nowhere to be found in vogue us. so it wouldn't be a logic move for anna to put them on the cover out of nowhere.

if anna ever decide to do another multiple models cover issue, we would expect karlie, raquel, daria, sasha , etc to be on the cover. count out freja, i dotn think anna like freja

Miranda actually had 3 eds on the September issue. Plus, they're known well outside the fashion world so I don't get the point of not hoping.

One thing's for sure, if they would do another model issue next year, Karlie Kloss is surely in it. But yeah, I doubt that US Vogue would devote an entire issue to models next year.

Isn`t May 2011 supposed to be a Faces of the Moment issue again. When you follow the pattern (May '07, May '09, then now May '11) I hope the make one again and not just another Gisele solo on the cover

Wait a second, isn't the May issue supposed to be the one that's dedicated to the MET Gala? Next year's gala theme is all about McQueen, right? So I doubt the May issue would be dedicated to models. Unless they'd do one in the succeeding months.

That's not always true. Chanel got the cover after only one or two small eds. I'm inclined to believe we will get a model issue this spring!

I think we should get a model cover this year. I hope we do. And as much as I love Isabeli Fontana, and I understand that Natalia V and Liya Kebede are respected top models they really do not need to be on it.
You can all breathe a sigh of relief, I very, very much doubt the VS Angels will get a Vogue US cover anytime soon.

Since the February Teen Vogue is Lucy Hale, can we scrap the idea that Emma Watson will be on the cover anytime soon? Unless, she gets a cover for "My Week With Marilyn".

But it's the theme of the gala that coincides with the May issue, right? (May 2008: Superheroes with Gwyneth Paltrow and the extra appearance of Iron Man's headgear on the cover for the promotion of Iron Man, May 2009: Model as Muse with Meisel's old and new favorites on the cover, May 2010: American Women with SJP on the cover).

Emma Watson might be on a summer cover to coincide with the release of the last Harry Potter film. It would be rather fitting for her to be on Teen Vogue again, seeing as she's been on the cover three times before, so why not one last time for promoting Harry Potter? I'm also pretty sure that she's always boosted cover sales for Teen Vogue and it couldn't hurt to have someone who's recognizable either.

Like cottonmouth13 said, May issues always have editorials coincide the theme of the Met Gala. July issues, on the other hand, have more like a report or review of that year's Gala.
Flip through the past years' issues then you can come to this conclusion.

i guess its gonna be another totally random girl. or models who just appeared recently. after all, it's steven miesel. he loves to repeat models for cover or models who are out of no where to be on the cover
