Kate Winslet will be on the cover of V Magazine #73, Fall 2011 issue, photographed by Mario Testino, entire issue will be styled by Carine Roitfeld.

The latest on Carine Roitfeld's wide-ranging current projects? Yesterday, she was collaborating with Terry Richardson on a project for the jeweler David Webb, and last night she gave a little more insight on her upcoming work for V: "I'm doing an entire issue of V magazine with Mario Testino, and we'll start the shooting tomorrow." Kate Winslet is on the cover of the issue, she said. But it sounds like that may not be the only magazine she's working on — when asked about whether the rumor that she's starting a magazine is true, she laughed: "Maybe. Now I have freedom like a butterfly, so I can go from one place to another.

Will And Kate Snagged The July Cover Of Vanity Fair

For those of you who thought we were finally done with royal couple coverage, we’ve got bad news. And for those of you who (like us!) still can’t get enough, we’ve got great news. Kate Middleton, er, Princess Catherine, er, the Duchess of Cambridge and her hubby Prince William are set to appear on the July cover of Vanity Fair.

The cover was shot by — who else? — Mario Testino and is actually an image saved from the engagement portraits he shot back in December. And completely uncoincidentally, Kate and Will’s cover comes exactly fourteen years after the magazine published Princess Diana’s now famous spread by Testino as well. The issue is also timed to hit newsstands just ahead of the couple’s visit to Los Angeles in July.

There’s no word of what the accompanying article will entail, but the New York Post reports that “the spread will also include shots of Diana, Prince Charles and Prince Harry.” Wait, what about Pippa?!

Anyway, here’s hoping there will be plenty of Harry, because with all this wedding brouhaha, we’re starting to feel like the younger prince has been flying way too under the radar. Can we get a good party scandal, please?

^What??? No new images of them after the wedding. What a shame. Perhaps when they come to America they will have a sitting (or at least Catherine) for another magazine. I mean Vanity Fair isn't bad but I was so hoping that she would grace the cover of Vogue or Harpers Bazaar. I mean, Vogue snagged Michelle Obama right after her husband won in 2008 so I'm sure they could work their magic and get some time with the couple too? Or is this all wishful thinking??? lol
