Ana Beatriz Barros, Isabeli Fontana, Izabel Goulart & Renata Kuerten are on the cover of Elle Brazil September 2011. Separate cover for each girl.

Wonder if Elle US did this for the VS girls... I think it's possible since Elle Brazil is doing the whole Bombshell thing too.

V's massive 72-page tribute to Elizabeth Taylor that Carine Roitfeld and Mario Testino have been dropping hints about for months will hit newsstands on September 8, but in the meantime, here's a behind-the scenes video from one of the shoots. Stephanie Seymour channels various bridal iterations of Liz Taylor, complete with white garter straps, rice-throwing, black laces, and a bearded groom (model Matt Raimo). There's even a shot of a stressed-looking Testino, who appears concerned about some flowers.

I had the weirdest dream ever about the new issue of Self Service.

Karolina Kurkova was on the cover in typical polaroid style. The entire issue consisted of a binder with Karolina on the cover. The rest consisted of a series of dia slides called 'The outtakes'. It also came with your very own pocket size projector.

the magazine will be out in early october according to their facebook page, but probably the cover will be released at the end of september.

I'm pretty certain Vogue is Adele, she was shot.

I've not had my Marie Claire or InStyle (which usually has the cover of Marie Claire in) - lately they've been the last of the magazines to surface.

I'm thinking Rachel Weisz perhaps? She seems to have alot going on at the moment with L'Oreal, Bulgari and new films coming out...

I certainly hope it's her anyway.

I would have thought she was perfect for them too, right demographic, strong and glamorous British woman... Suppose there's still time.

It's always surprised me that Sarah Jessica Parker didn't go better with her UK covers. She had a UK Vogue years ago and that's about her only major appearance other than a Marie Claire/Glamour cover here and there. Especially when she turns up quite so frequently on US covers. This month they've only managed to secure a US Elle reprint for the cover of Red for her.

^ I was just thinking about that the other day, after SJP's publicity tour in UK for her new movie! Its surprising that someone who is considered the ultimate fashion icon, and is certainly popular in UK, doesn't get much of the major covers. Maybe its the timing, or her people arent pursuing it, since she gets more offers from US publications.

Looking forward to see Adele on the cover of UK Vogue though, if true, she has such a stunning face, i hope the make-up is on point.

I've always found it so weird. Even during her SATC period she landed a UK Vogue cover back in 2003 and then pretty much has never been seen since on one of the big three as it were. They can't put it down to her not selling, as well, there's only one cover to ever go against. Who knows.

If Adele is indeed the cover of October's Vogue (I seriously hope she is) then it's going to be rather amusing. There's a very specific quote from her to say she didn't care and didn't want to be on the cover of Vogue.
