Cover Rumor Thread

I hope Irina gets it, wouldn't it be awesome for her and her career, being 16 and having your own cover of vogue Italia? That would be such a dream for her.

Greg Kadels editorials are dull. Everything he shoots looks the same. I wish he could do some location without everything looking so stiff and posey. I'm happy that Isabeli works her booty off though! :)

A little interesting piece of news about iD for December:

Also this weekend in London ID magazine will be shooting its "New Supermodels" issue. So this is the new modelwatcher's assignment. Draft up a list of the girls who you think will be declared "New Supermodels" by ID and drop your vote as to who you think will be nailing that coveted cover. Everytime a dedicated modelwatcher gets a girl right, TI will answer your post with a "Confirmed" response....

Well...this should be particularly interesting. I'll be curious to see how they define 'new.' Will it be a fresher crop of girls, or will it look more like that May Vogue US model cover? Either way, its iD, its London, and there's just no chance we won't see Agyness...

I so hope it's Lara for Vogue Italia :woot:
Same goes for that ID cover...that would be so justified, no?

^I'm so happy that I&V are regular contributors to Vogue Nippon now :woot:

It actually features more than one model

oh okay, than it's indeed a possibility Lily D will be on the cover.

I am overdozed with Miss MOss... I acknowledge she may be the best supermodel of all time but she is not reall fitting everything and we've got so much of her that everything she does looks similar to me... maybe i need to see a doctos but i am annoyed of her... but honestl i do not care whether she will get this cover or not...

It's almost December which means all the big SS08 camps are pretty much wrapped, all the blue chip fashion covers are spoken for and all that is left to do over the next two weeks is Miami Art Basel, Christmas shopping and holiday partying until you start to loathe champagne. But that doesn't mean that there are not still ch-ch-changes abrew. Like today' s text scoop. "Natasa-Vojnovic-Now-At-Women". Ah Natasa. The last time we saw her we got into a hoop jumping competition with Miss V. TI's jaws dropped at her uhmmm...flexibility. Legendary that one....Also this weekend in London ID magazine will be shooting its "New Supermodels" issue. So this is the new modelwatcher's assignment. She's got a Master's degree in Molecular Chemistry, a beautiful little baby girl and is still one of the coolest faces in modeling right this sec. TI LOVED that late 90's generation of Audrey/Erin/Karen/Sunniva/Guinivere and felt a bit like a model groupie talking with this definitive cool girl.Stay tuned for an exclusive peek tmrw morn at MDC/OTM.

Lara has Vogue Italia December :woot:
source supporting-cast.com
Vogue Italia December 2007 Ph. Steven Meisel (OG)

After a quiet runway season and a somewhat low-key November, Lara continues to secure her #3 position with a strong appearance for Vogue Italia. In December, a month that's typically dominated by celebrity covers, Lara still manages to hold her own at the front of Vogue Italia as well as the Vogue Paris supplement/calender. On that note, what makes Lara's career even more commedable is her ability to sustain her reputation as the only girl you will need for any shoot. You certainly cannot count all of the "(OG)"s on this page with just a quick glance!

I knew it! :p I think I'm happy, anything's better than Irina and I even started to like Lara lately...
