oooh so excting all this speculation. Reading all these posts I have no clue who will be on the cover.

I think that Kasia would make sense considering how she is kind of an all- star and some of her campaigns will debut in January.

What about the Amish comment, though? If it's not someone from Amish/Mormon land, or a girl with a similar background, then I guess it refers to a model whose appearance fits the styling. But I don't think Kasia, or Toni for that matter, suits that theme better than the next person (how does one look Amish, anyway?)

In a way, Heidi would make perfect sense. She did all the cool shows, including Prada and Miu Miu, and it'd be SO Meisel to keep her to himself until the cover's out. For the surprise effect, and, most importantly, to get another feather in his starmaker cap.

I think the Amish comment has nothing to do with the actual backround of the model, but just the theme of the shoot and that the model fits the mood.

Anyway a Kasia cover would be great.

I can see Kasia .. She fits all the clues, if one can interpret the "amish" clue as simple and functionalistic in style terms .. She is the current Jil Sander girl, which is very clean and simple. She is also perhaps the worlds most boring model, so she would fit an "amish" inspired shoot like a hand in a glove.

The only thing I doubt is why Meisel would drag her card out of his desk over half a year after he shot her for Pringle (his only shoot with her?), when there are so many other exciting, brand new girls.

I'm sticking to Anja, which was suggested by someone "early" in the discussion, but nok taken seriously ..

Hmmm perhaps Kasia wasn't such a weird thought of mine...good to see it got so much following

I still have no idea who it is...the three main options for me are Toni Garrn (if it were an all-star NEW girl), Anja Rubik (just an allstar) or Kasia Struss (January is huge for her)...I can't wait to see it now....and it better be good

Meisel did work with Kasia for august 2007 Vogue Italia. I think Kasia has a good chance, but we will see.
