What is it going to take for Anna to put Amy Adams or Zoe Saldana on the cover? Blake getting a sixth cover in 2017? Or even a big up-and-comer like Shailene Woodley? Saldana has a huge film to promote for August, for christ sake! If you're going to be uninspiring and choose celebrities all the time, at least choose decent ones.

I agree with all of this. Saldana and Amy Adams are way overdue. Shailene and Lupita are actually making waves in the industry right now. Blake is a glorified teenybopper television actress doing hair commercials. What is she doing to merit prestigious covers?

Zoe Saldana is long overdue to get a cover, I actually don't understand why she hasn't had one before. She is beautiful, smart, has a great style and has appeared in multiple Box Office smashes.

I like Zoe and I'd like to see her on the cover of Vogue but in terms of her big budget movie outings, I have to say they haven't exactly been the most female/Vogue friendly films. Star Trek, Avatar, Guardians of the Galaxy are all huge big budget franchise movies but I can't say they're something I particularly think the Vogue reader is going to be all that interested in. Perhaps it has a little something to do with that.

I'd like to believe some things like that are considered when choosing a star. Although Blake appearances clearly tell us that they aren't. As to why Amy Adams has gotten a cover, I'm really not sure. You'd think her Oscar nominations would have landed her one by now.

Wow I didn't realise Amy had never had a cover, that's crazy! I'd also love to see Zoe on the cover, she is gorgeous, talented and seems like a genuinely awesome person!

If they were going to do a multi-model cover, I think the only way to do it would be to focus on the girls who are killing at social media. "The New Supermodels: How Social Media Has Given Names to Today's Faces of Fashion" The ones who are on the fashion blogs and the gossip blogs and partying together and who have millions of instagram followers, etc. Essentially, this era of "Supermodel".

it would have to be the gang of girls that all kind of flock together and seem to genuinely be friends with one another.

Cara, Joan, Karlie, Liu and Jourdan. They're the ones making the best use of social media to further propel their careers and so would be relevant for what could actually be an interesting cover story. If they wanted to get another "Angel" in there, they could add Candice to the mix as she's extreeeemely popular on instagram. Or if they wanted to get even more attention, they could add Miranda as well. She's pretty much a household name at this point and aside from her famous husband, much of that is to do with her ubiquity on social media.

and for another cover rumour --- Karolina Kurkova is currently in Russia shooting a couture feature for some magazine. Maybe Vogue Russia? I can't imagine her doing an editorial for them and not getting the cover.

This Sept. Is the tenth anniversary of the multi-model us vogue September cover. I still treasure that issue and it's still in pristine condition in a shoe box in my closet! It would be awesome of they did a reunion of sorts. Most of the girls are still at the top of their game especially the three main cover stars. I'd love to see another gissy nati daria cover. That whole issue was superb looking back at it now. It was filled with models and designers and fashion. It's what I expect every sept issue to be before I get bombarded with a million things unrelated to fashion.
