Cover Rumor Thread

Are we sure the Madonna shoot is for a magazine? Could be for her new album.

Julia Stegner apparently shooted for Vogue Germany.

Pedro Sales the Fashion Director of Vogue Brasil said in his Instagram that Doutzen is on the list of models that will be cover in 2019.

Julia Stegner shot for Vogue Germany? Oh I'm getting all sorts of flashbacks to the good ol' days.

This had better of been for a cover... and at last someone worthy of covering the magazine's 40th anniversary year!

Oh, I thought she meant 'why her', that's why I liked it? :pink:
It's probably for another Vogue cover again. Sigh, wonder which one.
I definitely meant WHY HER lol. Because I know I’m not the only one tired of Madonna, especially Madonna on a Vogue cover. It’s been done. What else can she do? Retire. All praise to her for her lengthy and extremely successful career, but I feel the same way about Mariah Carey- they don’t have it anymore. Pass the torch and live your life.

I really dislike these sort of comments. Why should not be sticking a stop sign at anyone maybe with an exception of Donald Trump :-)

Okay, that’s a twist lol, and here comes this same old *** discussion, should Madonna retire? Get over it, she’s not going anywhere.

There was a 8-year gap between her Brazlian Vogue cover and the Italian one, so I don’t know why just 3 covers in recently two years could make you sound so pressed.

There’d be absolutely no point in arguing with you with your name and avatar, but it is what it is. We’ve seen every variation of Madonna. I also said all praise to her lengthy and successful career, I am personally sick of seeing her. This is my account right? Where I post my opinion? Search Madonna and check out the majority’s opinions of her Vogue covers and features... or any of her fashion endeavors for that matter.

LOL

MDNA, it's when you factor that those three Vogue covers look nearly identical to her Interview cover, her Harper's cover, her Versace campaign. Who's still looking for a tame b&w fetish shoot in 2019? Give us something new or pack it in.

Ya'll can stay mad, and stay tired of seeing Madonna on a Vogue cover, or any cover for that matter. She's not going anywhere, and will never retire. She's accomplished more in her life, than anyone here could ever dream of, and she continues to break barriers.. She's not tired, but complaining about her on a forum is the very definition of tiresome. Can't wait to see which Vogue she snatches next.

I am fine with people saying they are sick of seeing someone. It can get tiring especially when u see the same
model pulling the same face over and over again in numerous editorials, adverts, covers... even the ones I like.
However, telling someone to stop what they love doing is a bit harsh. Just imagine yourself hearing that from a person who will never know how much work and energy you put in every single project you work on. One thing you can’t say about Madonna, love her or hate her, that she doesn’t give it all. We need more women working in the pop industry at her age. If you want a real change than here she is trying to bring it about...

Someone also mentioned Mariah. I really am not a fan of Mimi but her last album was probably one of the most critically acclaimed from her discography. Yes, it bombed on the charts for an artist of her status but then again what matters more? Her artistic input or charts dominated by people in their 20ies and supported by the industry obsessed with youth?

Anyway, this discussion is going nowhere. Of course, you all have your opinions and thanks F for that

Vogue Paris will surely have to pay tribute to Karl Lagerfeld, right? I wonder if they’ve had to delay the April issue a week or so in order to put something together.

I read that it was for V magazine.
Giovanni Bianco posted the same picture of Lana on his Instagram Stories like Klein posted on his Instagram. The image Klein posted said that he's working with her again. I think it has something to do with Vogue Italia.

Courtney love commented on Kleins post, something to the extent of ‘she’s so excited to see what happens with them and Arianne Phillips’.

So it seems that he is the stylist for the shoot. He was also one of the stylists for Madonna’s Vogue Italia cover by Klein.

Sure they have to pay tribute a cover Will be great, but im more interested on what Carine Roitfeld will do with the fall issue of her magazine, she also have an upcoming colab with the Karl Lagerfeld brand for fall, I hope that isn't canceled.

The thing is, this is a fashion forum, not a fan site, I’m interested in fashion and someone’s place in fashion, not their discography. She doesn’t have to go anywhere or retire, but quit pretending that anything she’s put out in the past 5 years adds anything to her resume. IN MY OPINION- when you’ve done all there is to do and your name is just iconic, but your product sucks, it’s time to throw in the towel. Now hopefully she does SNATCH a Vogue cover because God knows we’ve seen too many Vogue covers SNATCH her. ❤️
