This year is the 20th anniversary of Vogue México, even thougth the magazine has ben published in the country for almos 40 years. Probably the septiembre issue will be the anniversary issue.

I assume they just translated other editions without any original content? I may be wrong here but I have seen some very old Vogue covers on german with german currency from 1920s, but Vogue Germany as we know it started out in 1979 and they just recently celebrated their 40th anniversary.

They had an edition during (if I’m not wrong) the 80’s and early 90’s but then was closed. They relaunched the magazine in 1999.

September ain't over until Vogue Italia comes out with its issue some time IN September. Which will be two days after Vogue Japan releases its November issue.

Crikey, could it have been 5 years since this cover already!?!

Looking forward to seeing how Karla will celebrate it. I do think the could have done way more with Vogue Latin America's anniversary a few months ago. A snippet here or there doesn't cut it. God knows I can't abide Laura Brown's style, but at least her September issue is covetable above all else.

So even though Vogue Italia won't be out for the next two weeks, I feel like September is officially over. It's not like they're gonna produce anything attention worthy with Verderi on their team, lol.
Any suggestions for October? I'm looking forward to Japan and hoping for Meisel in British Vogue to make up for HRH and Her Royal Mess.

Lady Gaga will be on an upcoming cover of Allure, presumably the October issue as her make-up line is released in September.

Some pictures of the inside spread leaked, but I doubt we're allowed to post them here, so I won't. In one shot she's in a red blazer/jacket with big puffy shoulders and black lapels, profile stance, with a silvery-blonde Elvira-esque hairstyle, and the other image looks like a normal portrait but most of the picture is covered.

Probably because of the make-up line, it makes more sense to promote it on the cover of a beauty magazine as opposed to a fashion one.

^My first thought also. The whole mastermind behind 'The Black Issue' was Edward Enninful in the first place, right? I can recall an interview where Enninful stated he mentioned the idea to Franca Sozzani, who of course gave the idea the go ahead.
