This year, I've taken to buying the Irish magazine, Social & Personal, which is just one big advertorial, but it seems to reprint stories from global Vogues for less than the price of an English magazine. Recently it reprinted Kendall's Russian Vogue cover appearance, and the issue I bought last week had Karlie's Spanish Vogue editorial inside.

That said, let's say you have Jennifer Lopez and you have Adele - Jennifer has been everywhere doing everything over the past year, not to mention the superbowl performance that's coming up. Unless there's some surprise announcement about new music, what's Adele done recently that would warrant her getting the March cover other than being someone who's got divorced and lost weight?

Well, I believe she's got a new man too. And there have been whispers of new music coming this year. Not that I'm saying it should be her, just that if there were to be a toss between the two (no pun intended), Anna would go for Adele. New music, new body, new man. Perfect way to pander to the insecurities of the Vogue reader.

It would be an absolute crime for Anna Wintour to pass up a Jennifer Lopez cover of Vogue for an Adele alternative. Lopez’s major Versace moment back in September should’ve secured the deal alone, and Wintour should give thanks for contributing such a newsworthy moment for the industry in the form of Vogue’s front cover.

No thanks to the ultimate snoozefest that is Adele on the cover of Vogue (or any other fashion title) in the near future.
