Cover Rumor Thread

In the meantime, we will give you a preview of this extraordinary exhibition in our forthcoming May issue.

As one of the co-hosts and with the involvement of LV, Emma Stone seems like a no brainer choice for the cover.

Any clues for American Vogue? I wonder if they'd still give the cover to a MET chair because they'd obviously not run the MET fashion edit now.

The MET edit is still going to run, I believe.

I've seen rumours that Meghan and Harry have done a shoot with Vanity Fair which may be to coincide with their son's first birthday (which is in May).

I wanted to say maybe she'd give the cover to a model, but that's unlikely considering.
Anna said they are still going to preview the MET in May issue.

If they've done an exclusive I'm guessing they'll get the cover as well? Wouldnt surprise me, to be honest. It's very much on-brand for them.

I suspect there's a PR campaign of leaking 'news' about all these things Meghan and Harry are supposed to be doing, which never come to pass but it's designed to keep their names constantly linked with high profile events.

However, public interest is still high so some media outlet somewhere could score quite a coup if they get the timing (and the money) right. Maybe everyone is waiting to see if the Daily Mail court case will be a carnival or whether there'll be an eleventh hour turnaround that sees it all melt away.

Aye! If they're wise they should just kill that entire case. Legally the lawsuit is sound and they'd definitely win, but it will just worsen their appeal in Britain which is already strained after the dramatic departure. And of course all this will make the Mail feel all the more vindicated, but then they've shown a nasty side with all the veiled threats.
I predict it the entire court case will be a media fiasco. Better off not doing any press, least of all Vanity Fair, until it blows over because you cannot charge invasion of privacy on the one hand and feed into it on the other.

It's reckoned that even if the Daily Mail loses and has to pay out, the revenue they generate will have been worth it. And if they think the press are hard on them now...

Kate Moss once quietly won a case against a newspaper, and after that, they were just waiting for their moment. And a while later, she was front page news.

How on earth did Vanity Fair get Meghan and not Vogue? Unless Anna didn’t want to feature them.

The latter seems to be the most plausible scenario. Radhika is no Graydon. Anna’s control in VF was set in stone the moment Graydon left.

Dame Judi Dench comes to mind she’s classic bond icon & in her 80s.

OK, so I'd be down for this. Any of those quintessential Bond women à la Judi Dench (or Jane Seymour and Honor Blackman).

One thing Edward Enninful has demonstrated in the past is just how brilliant he is at profiling mature woman (with the likes of Jane Fonda and Barbara Streisand on W Magazine), so I'd be down for any of those early Bond girls making an appearance before the lens of... Steven Meisel :shifty:.

Where is Fantastic Man?

I hope they didn't have a cover for Bond and change it last minute?

Dua Lipa must have a big cover. UK Vogue or UK Elle? US Vogue?
Her album came out two weeks early so a monthly must be due.

She just had Vogue Australia, but I am sure she will get some big things in the upcoming year. Her album is getting 10/10 reviews everywhere and is shaping up to become one of the biggest releases of the year.
