Some loose-lipped chatter from The Sydney Herald re Harper's Bazaar Australia relaunch cover:

'As for who will grace HB’s relaunch cover, several big names are in the mix, from Nicole Kidman and Cate Blanchett to freshly minted Sydneysider Natalie Portman and Indigenous supermodel Charlee Fraser, who is currently back home and would certainly make a fabulous statement for the magazine’s future direction.

Any hopes to have Margot Robbie on the cover were quickly dashed when she appeared on Vogue’s UK edition last week, while Sarah Murdoch is home in Sydney and would make a great cover girl sadly her in-laws own Vogue Australia while its editor-in-chief is her BFF Edwina McCann.'

I was thinking the same, I also checked their media kit and it said the September Issue UK is on sale on the 6th August, so I assume we will see the cover on social media before Friday.

I genuinely think that whoever is submitting these things to Deuxmoi is just reading the speculations in this thread and sending them in in the hope they're right. The message to Deuxmoi about Adele being on September Vogue only appeared after we were chatting about her being a possibility for the cover. Now Lorde's name has been speculated on here, so they've had another go.

I love Lorde but I can't see Anna giving her a cover - I don't think she's a big enough name (nor making enough waves with Gen Z/social media) to snag it. Didn't this all come about because there was a rumour she was shooting for Vogue and it ended up being 73 Questions? Which also makes me think...why would you release a video feature with someone who is going to be on the cover in only a few weeks time, you'd save it as promotion for the actual issue wouldn't you? So I think it's unlikely.

I do think we'll see Adele before the end of the year though, assuming music is actually coming soon, and I reckon Angelina will probably get the October cover (countdown to Deuxmoi posting about Angelina on Vogue in 3...2...1...).

Interesting - I suppose that makes sense! I still struggle to see Lorde on US Vogue though…but who knows. She would be a refreshing choice for sure.

Did they also predict next month's model cover? Genuinely asking because I might have missed the talk around that in this thread.

No they didn’t. They said it was Adele.
