Cover Rumor Thread

Lady Gaga by Meisel on the cover of Vogue Italia and British Vogue!

Germanotta is certainly NOT on the cover of American Vogue's Christmas issue, let's me just squash that right now. God, one Vogue cover is bad enough but two in the same month??

And although I don't know this for sure, I'm convinced Meisel would not shoot her British Vogue cover. He, like many of us, still remember and associate her with the Fame Monster era. God, what an era.
But I may well be proven wrong. I'd wager Nick shot her again.
Double Gaga
Double Cover
Double Meisel

Bye Bye The Fame Monster

I’m in no way defending or excusing the conservatorship and all that came with it, but in my unprofessional opinion, Britney has some serious issues and I don’t trust that fiancé of hers one little bit. Kind of disgusted by anyone potentially exploiting the situation for magazine sales and digital content by doing a bridal theme with her.

I’m not Britney’s number one fan but after all she’s been through a Vogue cover would be a beautiful gesture.
now, does she have any Fashion influence? I don’t think so. is she Pop legendary? yes. has she been one of the most talked women this last year? also, yes.
it would be interesting to see her properly dolled up (her Instagram, style wise is… well, not the best is it).
I wouldn’t mind it since, apart from disgusting tabloids, she isn’t overexposed (her life, unfortunately yes).

Just don't let some amateur photographer muck it up, please. A proper Leibovitz photoshoot would be nice.

Catherine Deneuve will be on the cover of Elle France tomorrow.

I hope the rumors about Britney are not true. Britney needs to stay away from the media. Be it Vogue or anything else. She doesn't need to be on any magazine covers right now. She only needs time to take care of herself, her fiancé and her life, that's just it!

I don't like it when the EIC of a magazine seems so eager to engage on camera with the celebrities they feature and seek the spotlight for themselves. It's giving fame-hungry starf*cker. Edward is not the biggest offender (Laura Brown, for instance, is much worse) but there's no reason he should be on the cover of magazines or chatting up starlets for sponsored content with a diamond company. Anna has done it sometimes too, with Meryl and Amy Schumer videos, though because she *is* a star in her own right at this point, it feels more warranted. I really admire Samira Nasr, Amy Astley, and others who don't exploit their celebrity connections and positions of power in order to engage in this type of self-promotion.
