Raquel had lunch the other day with my editor from Spur, Mana which is where this phone pic came from. Thought I'd share it primarily because I love models all the more when they're off duty. The girl is editorial..all the time. Which leads me to wonder...is Raquel one of the 15 girls being lensed for that certain September extravaganza of an editorial? Frankie Rayder is...and they say her body is better than ever. Comeback Frankie, there is nothing to forgive! Eva Herzigova is and with her LV campaign breaking, she's sure to be most coveted. Let's say this edit is going to have all mag hags running to the stands...over and over again. ...In other mag news TI is greatly looking forward to the September Vanity Fair with its very own Supermodel Extravaganza. The VF ad pages are going to be filled with all those major divas of yesteryear (Linda! Naomi! Claudia!) making this moment their's. Which make Mr Carter very smart in roping in all those ladies for that month. He wants those fashion ads and he wants them with a vengeance! More hiss later!

Could 'that certain September extravaganza of an editorial' be about the I&V thing Wayne was talking about earlier?

And I'm very excited about the VF supermodel thing.

More Linda for VI:

At a long and languid lunch one of the Hiss Squad ringleaders updated TI on the current doings of La Linda. She's back on set with Mr. Meisel for another round of VI right this minute. Is it for August? September? TI ain't saying. Lord knows I can never get the month right on those Meisel studio doings. But with two campaigns looming, this June VI cover and the strong chance of a cover position on September's VF, let's just say Miss Linda is certainly making sure she is THE central supermodel in Fall's "Return Of The Supermodel" moment. Stay tuned!

Thanks to the insane demand for Keira Knightley's green dress in Atonement--created for the movie but not available for purchase--costume designers learned their lesson.

To coincide with the release of Vogue's July issue featuring covergirl Nicole Kidman, a recreation of the limited-edition dress the actress wears on the cover and in her new Baz Luhrmann film Australia will be available exclusively beginning June 24th at Bergdorf Goodman.

The long dress is described as a "green firebird organza silk gown." The frock was custom made by Luhrmann's wife, two-time Oscar-winning costume designer Catherine Martin, who also created the costumes for Moulin Rouge. On the cover, Kidman wears leather riding boots by Salvatore Ferragamo. The Florentine fashion house designed a collection of shoes for the epic that will hit stores this fall.

To mark the occasion, Bergdorf will display the dress in a window on Fifth Avenue, complete with an Australian-esque background filled with July Vogue covers. Four of the gowns will be available for $9,850 each in a range of select sizes. Special orders will be taken upon request.

Makeover Madness? Yes that was a great edit.It had Elise ,Hana,Inguna, Missy, Jessica ,and Eugenia in it too.

I'm hoping for something unexpected and nice if we have to put up with another Linda cover/edit.Multi girl would be great.

Hahah i dont want to be mean, but i am very pleased that Linda will get another cover soon. There is no such thing as to much Evangelista in my books.
