Yes, Meisel shot Toccara for the July Vogue Italia - in fur and lingerie. Faran reported this in Page Six Magazine a few weeks ago.

Tocarra's beautiful and as an ANTM fan I'm excited to see her editorial even though she wasn't my favourite contestant.

Most people won't know who tocarra is so I don't think it's too gimmicky. If Meisel thinks she's right for the issue I'll trust his judgement

Most of the shots I saw on her site are hideous fashion eds or soft p*rn - but I think she has good bone structure.

Did she do anything else than shots like that? Yes I really think that doesn't suit Vogue Italia, yetis can pose too but nobody hires them for fashion shoots especially for high class magazines like Vogue Italia.

Well, true as that may be, I will wait judgement to when the issue comes out. When Toccara is promoted in the ed as 'ANTM's Big and Fabulous Toccara!' then it will suck...if she is promoted as 'just' a big and black model in a great shoot then I am perfectly fine with it. Most people won't recognise her anyway... Besides, Toccara's high fashion shoots are definetly pretty neat...perhaps this will change her focus?

i would look at what she did on the show, as mr. dale said...
she's definitely not on the cover...

and lest we forget nicole richie was shot by meisel (and she's famous for what exactly?)

I haven't seen ANTM so I have never seen her before and after checking out the link she doesn't seem an obvious choice.......having said that I am very intrigued to see the outcome.
Facially she reminds me of Pam Grier.B)
