Cover Rumor Thread

i do really like the Lily and Stam combo. they really look great in the last issue.

I agree I think this will be inspired and probably a lot of fun.......although I would have personally liked to see different models cast, but I'll leave my judgement until I see the results.:D

I'm excited, but Sebastian Faena's taste in model is so predictible...

Well, due to Demelza Reveley winning the latest Australia's Next Top Model, she'll be the cover girl for next month's Aus Vogue, another original for Aus Vogue- it's quite a good feat for so many originals! :)

Bully beauty Demelza takes out top prize

The vogue.com.au Forums are firing with blazing opinions on last night’s winner of Australia’s Next Top Model, Demelza Reveley. The 16-year-old from Wollongong first came to the attention of the public when her antics on the Foxtel program labelled her a bully. The judges’ decision was drawn, with Vogue Australia editor-in-chief Kirstie Clements voting for finalist Alexandra Girdwood because of concerns about Reveley’s behaviour. The winner was decided by public voting.
Part of Reveley’s prize is a shoot in Vogue Australia’s September issue, with the magazine under a contractual agreement with Australia’s Next Top Model to feature the winner on eight pages, but don’t expect the amateur model to appear on the cover like last year’s winner Alice Burdeu. “Alice was such an exceptional case,” Clements says. “It was clear from the very beginning that she had the makings of an international model.” (July 2, 2008)

vogue Uk August 08 - Lily Donaldson

wow vogue aus is so bitchy

Daul Kim is shooting with Meisel [source: her cyworld]

I assume it's for Vogue Italia since the FW campaigns have been shot and I doubt Anna would want Daul in her magazine.

Funny if he is doing an all asian issue of VI!!!

No ,I don't want an all asian issue.I think one issue where one minority is shown is enough, otherwise it just caters to the idea that girls should be separated into categories by their ethnicity.I think the black issue will be good for all races.

I would love to see Daul on the cover of VI ,I don't think an asian has ever been on the cover aside from Audrey Quock on the couture suppliment in 1998.

I am a bit unpatient about Vogue Paris, it will probably be a celeb cover in the end  does anyone know when it usually comes out after the double issue?

^ I checked when the first post about Vogue Paris August 2007 was made and it was on July 20th.So in a few weeks we should be hearing something I suppose.

i dont think it really gives out anything, but I-D just posted this on myspace and thought i could share :/

The next issue of i-D is the womenswear issue.

Please send images of STRONG women to our myspace account by 13th July and the best will make it into the magazine.

Much love

I'm reading rumors that Mariah Carey is on the cover of the August 2008 US ELLE. Ugh. Could Mimi just go away for awhile. Don't know about all fo you, but I'm on Mariah Carey overkill BIG TIME this year. I think the new husband is supposed to be in the photos, too. Joy!
