Cover Rumor Thread

OMFG! seriously?!? Cate Blanchett?!?!?! NOW I CAN'T WAIT!!! the last US Vogue cover she did (November 2006) was a brilliant one so i hope this would also be great or much better, would rival her 11/06 cover. ;) :D and i hope so too that Leibovitz photographed her well. DAMN! I JUST CAN'T WAIT! so excited!!! :) plus a Daria ed. inside lensed by M&M!!! UGH! :)

The reviews of US VOGUE Dec 09 are killing me! Wish that the thread would be reposted anytime soon!

Any cover descriptions? These reviews are killing me!

^just saw both covers (US Vogue & W) and i must say, they both look great! especially US Vogue. :) Cate's in a field of grass wearing a long chiffon dress while holding a sort of red cape. it's a good shot actually. :)

Cate & Demi?:o:doh: I like Cate but she's a bit boring. Demi is just a cougar these days.

Just saw both covers! Cate's cover looks okay, Demi's looks fierce!

I just saw the covers too. Cate's was kinda bad. Again with that horrendous banner.

W was great. Simple but stunning. Fierce indeed.

okay, i was wrong with my description of what Cate's wearing on the cover. :D she's actually wearing a gold crepe strapless dress while holding a red cape. :) sorry 'cause i'm not the best when it comes to giving descriptions. :D

I love the invasion of Victoria's Secret models into high fashion glossies. First Adriana at VP, then Miranda at V, and now Alessandra at Love. These girls can do more than just strut a runway in lacy lingerie and strike titallating poses for catalogues. They actually have real modeling chops, especially Adriana, who I am praying shows up in VP again in the near future.

Those who have seen the US Vogue thread, can somebody tell me whether the musician ed by Leibovitz was and only girl with Coco or whether there were more girls?

US Vogue looks exciting although I don't care for Gaga or Lily Cole the ed looks pretty good so far...love Annie L's fairy-tale eds (especially appreciate her more having seen her exhibition and her IRL)

I'm just disappointed there doesn't seem to be a Meisel ed...but at least Chanel is in an ed :)

Natalia V is working that Fendi something rotten in our final shot of the day (here somewhat blurily captured not only in real life, but also via one of our streaming cameras). Again, these poses are more potential candidates for prime position on the cover of British Vogue's February 2010 issue - but you'll have to wait until next year to find out exactly which one will finally be chosen. Our Fashion Revolution live stream has now finished, but we have more shoots lined up throughout November and December - including shoots with Jason Evans, supermodel Raquel Zimmermann and Nick Knight's own twenty-day 'residency' throughout December. Stay tuned for more!

As I said, after our warrior princess look of the past six outfits, we've taken a turn - or rather a pirouette - in the opposite direction, with pastel hues, flirtatious sheer layers and fragile dressmaking detailing. Indeed, Natalia's cover look from Karl Lagerfeld for Fendi is the very apotheosis of spring's trends for underwear-as-outerwear (check the lingerie look of that lace), sugary hues and out-and-out über-femininity.
