but scarlett would make sense as "the nanny diaries" is going to be released in a few weeks.

Kate Moss and Pete Doherty are to star in their first official photoshoot together - a spread in the April edition of US Vogue. The shoot will take place in a club where the rock n' roll couple will pose surrounded by 20 of London's hottest young things, who were handpicked by US Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour. She's flying over to London to style the shoot, while legendary photographer and friend of Kate, Mario Testino, will take the photographs. A source said, "It's something that Kate's been suggesting for ages. She wants some really good shots of them together... But the right project hasn't come along. They've already been discussing exactly how the shoot's going to look. Pete's had a lot of input as well."

^also from UK Vogue...Kate Moss and Pete Doherty will be photographed today in their first official shoot together for American Vogue's April issue. Editor Anna Wintour landed at Heathrow yesterday to oversee the shoot, which will be photographed by Mario Testino in a London nightclub. Kate and Pete were seen cuddling up close last night at a magazine awards party.

^^WOW that is so untypical of Anna to green light&style an edit with the two of them,specially Pete?!?!
It sounds more daring than US Vogue usually is;Pete Doherty and Kate Moss in a nightclub?
Maybe Uk or Paris&Italia but Us?Very surprising.
But i do think its great i couldnt care for him but its always a pleasure seeing Kate in Vogue...

What do you mean? They never give info about who is on the cover like until its acutally out!!!!!Anna is famous for keeping it a secret until it hits the newstands,many people have been caught and fired when they were sharing info on the cover subjects.

According to Glamurama, Vogue US April will be Scarlett Johansson.
But they say there's something funny going on because (reportedly) this same cover was promised for Natalia V.
I think we're going to have a model cover this year! But I like Scarlett a lot, so I don't mind if it's not now.

I wouldn't mind seeing either of them on the cover so I hope at least one of those rumors is true

It kind of makes sense to give it to Scarlett though. Besides the Nanny Diaries, isn't April also the shape issue? They might want to give it to a more voluptuous girl to show a different body type.

I wouldn't mind Natalia or Scarlett on US Vogue either. Love it, actually.

The Kate/Pete sounds horrible though. She may have less ads this season, but she's still far too omnipresent for my liking.

In addition to Suvi, it'll also feature Freja photographed by Mario Sorrenti according to the Vblog for 3/1.

No word on if the Tom Brady rumor is true or not though.

Somehow I think that Natalia was supposed to get the march cover before they considered Jennifer an option. If you look at the contributor's page in the march issue, you can see the Natalia pic looks clearly like a cover try to me. The other celebrity stories in the march issue are to small for a cover story. Michelle Williams was only one close up portrait by Penn. And I think the Jennifer Pictures were supposed to be featured in the shape issue.. am I making any sense...?

^^I got the same feeling and Jennifers spread is hardly the usualy cover accomppanied edit.

I think Scarlett had this cover long time coming,no surprise there i am only surprised she didnt get it sooner.

You're right it is a shame.
I hope I am not making sense and that Natalia will appear on the april cover, though I highly doubt it after her interview in the march issue. Seeing Scarlett on the cover is not that bad although Annie Leibowitz shooting her, is, her last couple of celebrity stories for Vogue were dissapointing

Just at the moment when Kate & Pete are pictured hitting the town looking their absolute worst - sickly pale and spotty - US Vogue decides to feature them.
