Just read today that UK shopping magazine Happy has bitten the dust, though that's not a surprise - the decline was gradual but obvious, as the magazine went from monthly to bi-monthly. So it joins Real magazine in the dustbin in 2007, when it comes to UK magazines.

Vogue Italia is constantly the best of Vogues, anyway. They have so much freedom there, as in Vogue Paris and Vogue Japan.

Ah! btw, about the models cover: Carol's booker told me that they don't have much info right now because nothing is right, but apparently it is going to happen.

^ True! It's too much to hope for Vogue US to ever be one of the best instead of the worst. It won't happen anytime soon, anyway.

Somehow I think that Natalia was supposed to get the march cover before they considered Jennifer an option. If you look at the contributor's page in the march issue, you can see the Natalia pic looks clearly like a cover try to me. The other celebrity stories in the march issue are to small for a cover story. Michelle Williams was only one close up portrait by Penn. And I think the Jennifer Pictures were supposed to be featured in the shape issue.. am I making any sense...?

This is defintely what happened. I've been looking through this month's issue, and Jennifer Hudson's editorial was definitely meant to be in one of their Shape Issue features. Everybody featured for their shape or size has a two-page picture (the piano!) shot by Annie Leibovitz in surroundings meant to fit them followed by an article. I want to know what happened to Natalia's cover!

Also: Where is the May issue of Elle? Don't we normally know who's on it by now?

Has anyone information about the vogue paris june07 cover ? i've just watched an interview of Emmanuelle Alt on vogue.fr and she said that right after the fashion week they'd be shooting the May issue (which will include some piece from the FW collections) and when she was asked who were the models she said "daria, daria and daria"... I hope she gets the cover

Featured..yes. She shot a couture editorial with Nick Knight. I'm not sure if she'll be on the cover though.

^I think pandinha's predictions are pretty accurate.

I don't know, but if I had to guess movie-wise, could be Keira Knightley (for POTC 3), Cameron Diaz (for Shrek 3), or even Dunst again for Spider-Man 3, although that'd be unlikely since she was recently on the cover.

My money's on Keira Knightley. POTC 3 will inevitably make a killing at the box office, so it would be idiotic for Anna to pass up that chance. But then again, she was on the May cover last year. Do you think Anna would give her the same month 2 years in a row?

Anyway, if it's not Vogue, she's going to be on the cover of something - Bazaar or Elle, probably. And then a bunch more in June.

i except that scarlett johansson will be on the covers of some fall issues now that her movie "the nanny diaries" has been pushed back.
