No, the rumours were muddled. They all stated she would have the October cover. It turned out to be all about her US Elle cover instead it would seem..

I don't think Vogue in particular would want to use her if they knew she had an Elle cover the same month/or within a few months. She'll probably end up with one at some point, but perhaps not untill next year?

Haha I thought so too, even if she had planned Victoria for October, she would have pushed it back

However i am glad Wintour does this, she said in an interview that they always know who is on other mags cover's because they dont want to book the same person, since Vogue does NOT share their cover star's.

It would be awful if the same people were on several magazines in the same month, its bad enough seeing the same faces every few months.

True, it was said Renee was shot for Elle. However Renee's appearance at The September Issue premiere makes me think she'll be getting a Vogue cover soon. The premiere wasn't exactly movie star laden so I think it's important that she was there...

There was a rumor about the West Side Story ed with Daria and Testino for Vogue, wasn't it? Maybe that ed would be in the "Cast of Nine" issue. Maybe the eds would be like a tribute to famous musicals.

I just said the other day to McQueezy I thought we'd see her on something.. Nick Knight did something with her, but I doubt it's for Elle..

So Cheryl on Elle, and Alexandra on Marie Claire..

I have mixed feelings about Cheryl on UK Elle. I had doubts about her British Vogue appearance, but it turned out okay.
Hopefully she didn't have that awful red hair for the shoot.

I think we're going to see Leona on something as well. Alex AND Cheryl wouldn't have covers of things without them having secured Leona one too. All three have their albums out about the same time. And we know UK Bazaar loves Leona, with Alison Edmond being her sylist.

Although, does Edmond still work for UK Harper's?
