I don't get all these ''she's not ready'' etc when it comes to Kate M... she is one of the most intelligent and beautiful young girls in this country who is about to marry a prince and potentially become the queen... why not putting someone with brains and looks on the cover instead of some people with dodgy backrounds, drug addicts neglecting their children, sex tapes and scandals, and empty brains... I am sure they will put her on the US magazines as well because the Royal Family is much loved there and maybe even more popular than many A-list celebrities...

I honestly wouldn't mind seeing Kate on the cover of British Vogue- it would be nice to have a Royal on the cover once again. I think the last time anyone with a title was on Vogue was years and years ago, with Princess Diana. Yes, of course if she did Vogue their would be the inevitable comparisons to Princess Di, but so what? She can take them on. I would much rather see her on the cover a high fashion monthly then say in the tabloids. Royalty weren't meant to be posing for gossip rags- its a rather chav thing to do- don't you think?

I think Kate would translate better on the cover of VF or HB.

Lorraine C just tweeted about another upcoming designer collab for an early 2011 issue of Elle UK.
I wonder if it's not a Dior/Marion C cover as the new Lady Dior film was unveiled in London yesterday morning and she also made a mention of that earlier in the day.

Elle also tweeted later on that they all had huge girl crushes on the cover star they had shot that same day. As Marion was in London to attend the launch it makes me curious....

So totally random and i'm just guessing...but I do hope that they snapped her up! Would LOVE to see her on the cover of Elle UK!

Maybe, but Vogue is Vogue. Regardless of the its actual quality and content, it has the 'prestige' and is meant to be 'the authority' in womens' fashion. If Kate did any exclusive shoot, I would think it would be Vogue UK, because it is British and because HBUK is perceived as being 'second fiddle' to Vogue UK (though in my opinion HB content often equals, if not surpasses Vogue).

^Well said, and lets not forget the fact that Vogue always had more access to the Royal Family than any other magazine. So its really a no brainer that she would eventually land on their cover, dont see her doing VF or HB (let alone Elle) over Vogue.
