Cover Rumor Thread

Good Lord! I just don't know what people see in Justin Bieber to put him on the cover of magazines. He's just another boring teenager, who'll fade away in no time.

Hahah that is sooo sad its funny, VF might at least make an interesting interview/article out of it.

My first reaction on J.Biebs on Vanity Fair was "thank God it`s someone alive" I`m pretty excited to see the outcome of this cover. It`s like all of us getting excited over Gaga Vanity Fair then it ends up nice -- it`s that situation all over again.

Love for Bieber is quite interesting too but I was hoping for LOVE to feature like the New Girls of the Moment or Girls of S/S 2011. Well excited to see it though

Any idea's as to when Emma Watson's other magazine covers/editorials will be out? Perhaps, for her other movie coming out sometime in 2011?

^I think the next influx of Emma's covers will happen in summer since Deathly Hallows Part 2 premieres in July.

I'm excited to see Rooney Mara for W, but also slightly disappointed - I was hoping she would keep up her Greta Garbo routine of barely interacting with the media.

Adriana Lima is shooting a cover tomorrow with Greg Kadel in NY. Don't know for what, but I don't think it has anything to do with Vogue Brazil. I don't think Greg does Vogue Brazil covers? And the editorials for Vogue Brazil Feb. were shot already in Brazil. Neither of which were shot by him. Anyway, I could be wrong though: http://twitter.com/voguebroficial/status/15142280482529280

I didn't see this posted but Lorraine Candy, Elle UK, tweeted this:

Just had THE most exciting meeting about a summer cover with star we have never shot. I LOVE my job!! Even rainy london can't bring me down. about 20 hours ago

I wonder who it could be?

Yet another break out star of this year was Melodie Monrose of Wilhelmina Models. The Martinique beauty may be shy but she has dominated the catwalk for the spring 2011 season with a combination of 49 shows. Fashion Gone Rogue was able to ask her about the most memorable job of the year, and her response revealed an upcoming editorial for Vogue Italia: “I would have to say my favorite job as of right now was shooting for Italian Vogue with Emma Summerton and Edward Enninful. Doing a Vogue shoot is every models goal and to do it after only 4 months was completely unbelievable!”

A supermodel New Year - Anja Rubik for Vogue Australia

Some parts of the world might be winding down for the holidays but of course, fashion never sleeps. Frockwriter has it on good authority that Polish supermodel Anja Rubik (above) – who is ranked as the world No 3 by models.com – will be winging her way downunder to shoot for Vogue Australia, in time for New Year’s Eve. With 11 international Vogue covers to her credit, six of them in 2010, one could only speculate that if Rubik was going to be featured anywhere in an upcoming edition of Vogue Australia, surely it would be the cover? If that’s the case, then good to see our Vogue finally shooting more of its own material, after many years of rehashing covers from international editions.

^ Anja for Vogue Aus would be AMAZING!! Fingers crossed Nicole Bentley shoots her!

I just had the weirdest dream. I dreamt that Tyra would be on the cover of Vogue Italia May 2011, to coincide with Ann's VI editorial. OMG. :ninja:
