Rihanna just tweeted she landed an Esquire cover, but most importantly she's about to shoot for Vogue UK. I can't imagine it's for anything other than a cover, maybe the October issue? To coincide with her UK tour.

It's a pretty big cover for her, since she's never even had an Elle cover in the UK.

I think Rihanna must be one of the black celebrities Alexandra was alluding to having in the "pipeline" then. I'm curious to see how it turns out, I seem to like Rihanna's covers more often than not.

Fabien Baron was taking a break from closing the September issue of Interview magazine, which will feature Anne Hathaway on the cover, along with a big feature on Carine Roitfeld inside, with the story and photos all by Karl Lagerfeld.

Klein recently shot his first story for Tonchi’s W magazine with Amber Valletta, which will appear in the September issue.

“It’s the story of a woman. She starts out at 20 years old and we went up to 120,” said Klein, who also this month shot Rihanna in New York and Rafael Nadal in Majorca for the next wave of Emporio Armani underwear ads.

I couldn't be more dissatisfied with the prospect of Rihanna covering British Vogue. They're running out of ideas. Hopefully the recent staff changes has a positive outcome, and delivers a fresh outlook for the magazine. Yet I wouldn't expect something groundbreaking.

Beyonce for British Bazaar sounds promising, actually. I think I could be amazed, with their styling approach, and photographer choices.
