That's the thing though all those girls you mentioned were very good models and they had a certain something those Juliannes and Antonia's don't. My problem is not that they are newbies, my main problem is that they are bland, boring and most of the times hard to look at![]()

^ Even though I was the one who said I don't like this newbies, I agree with you about the fact that without new girls we can't get new stars, but it's not a news that only few of all newbies used by Meisel in last years still manage to get decent work, most of them are kinda lost.
I would love to see Aymeline Valade on VI cover, (or any cover at least).
I find it amusing to see people complaining about all the 'newbies' scoring the cover of VI. Everyone keeps craving for 'golden oldies we love so much'. But every VI cover models has to start out as a newbie to become a 'golden oldie we love so much'. Just look at 2003. Almost every cover were with 'newbies'. That year was dominated by Elise, Daria, Julia and Stam all 'newbies' at the time, but without the 'newbies' we won't have new stars.

So our Dazed 20th anniversary edition is set to drop any day now and our cover star and Guest Art Editor is none other than... Any guesses who?
... got a 'little' surprise heading your way at 10am!
Natasha Poly will be guest-editor of Vogue Spain, the exact month isn't known yet, but she said she will be stylist, model & casting director of that issue.
