Wasn't it already confirmed that Lupita was going to be on the September issue of us vogue?

As far as I know, that was the rumor during the weeks leading up to the Oscars, when everyone was tripping over themselves to get a piece of her hype. But I don't think it was ever confirmed. I'd love to see her on Vogue, but she doesn't have any films coming out this year.

I hope that Daria, Raquel and Lara all shot for W in London with Mert and Marcus for the same shoot as Kate, Mariacarla and Amanda Murphy because Lara also posted a photo with Suvi in London who also seems to be a favourite of Mert and Marcus... i could just be speculating though..

The Daily Mail did have pictures of Kate and Lara shooting together on Tuesday so it probably is.

I mean,I don't loathe them.They are charming,sexy ladies but imo,they totally do not show the sharp edgyness that Vogue Italia should bring out.

^You really think that with Isabeli? IDK, I think Adriana is really commercial, but Isabeli can go do both ends of the modeling spectrum really well. She has the same appeal as Gisele in that respect. A VI cover for her is looooong overdue.

I'm actually astonished to read that Isabeli has yet to cover Vogue Italia. Seems very odd to me. I've never really been a fan of hers, to be honest. Never got the appeal. But, I can certainly respect her career; she has been extremely successful. That's why it's so shocking that she hasn't landed that particular cover.

If anything, Isabeli and Adriana fit the VI standard set on by Linda Evangelista. Style them properly (which most of the time is the issue) and they can deliver stunning shots and poses worthy of VI.

^I agree that with proper styling,they can shine under the lens of Meisel.After all they are outstanding models.BUT,Vogue Italia is too lazy to try new things nowadays. Everytime they got sexy bombs,they would invite Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele,trying to produce some vintage-vibe stories.I just get tired of that those beautiful girls are put in a studio,posing elegantly or ridiculously,with no strory to tell.It's no fun,no creativity and it would easily fail due to Carlyne's "hit or miss" styling.They do deserve the cover,but how sad it would be if the final result is boring.

I do, and last month's with Charlize was on newstands nearly five weeks ago on 5/16. Ridiculous.

Most if not all of the US magazines come weeks later than they used to since about six months ago. The only one that has remained the same as before (at least in Los Angeles) is Cosmo. All the rest come out one to two weeks later than ever before.

Very disappointing.
