Sometimes we would get it even before the 10th, i guess its longer now even for bigger cities to get it.

They are Tweeting a lot about Lana Del Rey, so whoever said it could be her on the cover might be on to something.

Now Lupita has July and Blake has August, im seriously thinking Victoria Beckham could get the September Cover VOGUE US.....

I defo heard Lupita was talked about for Sept cover, so the fact she ended up on July is surprising to me. I feel Lively is too young for August issue, i prefer someone more worldly and "experienced" for the cover. In fact VB wouldn't be bad for August at all, but Sept most likely goes to Angie, she will start that Oscar campaign for Unbroken soon.

I agree ! Besides Lupita's cover was shot just last month in Morroco. Very unusual for Vogue to shoot a cover story that late so I don't think it was originally planned for the July issue.

Maybe Lupita was shot for the September cover with the possibility of going for July just incase the September cover star they wanted said no? It sort of reinforces in my mind that it's probably going to Angelina on the cover of the September Issue. She's the only one that could bump Lupita.

Blake defo shot for Vogue, in Texas on some ranch. But i do wonder if it could be a feature not a cover shoot, kinda like she had in US Elle this year. Its most likely a cover though.

If they only shot Lupita four weeks ago it does make me think that her shoot got moved forward to taking July's cover. Perhaps the original July cover star/shoot was scrapped or maybe they had planned her for September but then a deal with another star was secured. Although who could have been bumped off the July cover I'm not sure.

The fact it is also shot by Mikael (whilst I'm very glad he got to shoot the cover) makes me think it had be planned a little more hastily than usual covers.

However, If they did bump that shoot from September to July, I would be DEVASTATED if that was the september cover. Its....pleasant but its not september worthy.

^ But you gotta admit its still better than last years Sept cover with Lawrence. I resented that cover so much, there was no Fashion, Style, Fantasy or drama there. Not even a very good shot of Jennifer! It looked like a regular Allure cover, a total non event!

I agree with you, and this must have been a reshoot, maybe they didn't love the first one with Testino or Annie and only were only able to get Mikael Jansson, which is excellent and maybe they are taking notice of US Harper's Bazaar shoots with models on the cover , and Lupita posted the photos of the location shoot at the ending of May after Cannes, this sure was rushed out . . . I just hope for September they chose the Models Issue portrayed by Meisel, I would die and go to heaven!

I think that cover wasnt as bad. If Lupita's cover was meant for september, it really would have been a flop. Something like Halle Berry's 2010 Sept would have been better for a September Lupita.

I seriously hope its Victoria Beckham. Angelina has a December face anyway....

If they're planning on using Angelina as her Oscars promo surely she would sit better on a lately cover - like Blanchett got? I'd love to see the models cover. If Karlie has a global exclusive for September maybe it is as part of US Vogue and all of the models featured will have been to be exclusive....?

Rihanna has shot for Harper's Bazaar. Both accounts use #JulyAugustCover2014, so I'm assuming it's the August cover of US Bazaar?
