God, does not look promising at all. The last two really good editorials I've seen was by Meisel and Walker, both for VI's food issue in May 15'. It's actually not a theme regularly covered.

Over the past few years US Vogue gave the January cover to an up and coming starlet. Saiorse fits that bill, I think Mary Queen of Scots will be released next year. But there are a few others making waves now as well. I'd like to see Tessa get it personally.

The Ocean’s 8 trailer is out and the plot is a heist to steal diamonds from guests at The Met Gala. There’s even shots of Anna and the arrivals in the trailer. There’s not a chance there isn’t a cover in there to promote it somewhere.

If there isn’t a group cover shot of that cast coming for its launch, then someone is missing a huge trick. I just hope it’s better than that awful group cover for Nine.

Anne Hathaway, Cate Blanchett, Rihanna and Sandra Bullock in the same movie. Anna must have been chomping at the bit.

I just hope it’s better than that awful group cover for Nine.

The moment I read your first paragraph my mind immediately went to that awful Nine cover! If will be a group cover, it will go to Leibovitz without a doubt. And they're all Vogue favourites. A cover for the movie is basically a shoe-in at this stage.

When last have we seen Anne on the cover? Feels like ages. Not that I'm yearning for her.

Wonder if there will be models in that movie....

To be honest it has some great options for a cover if you include the wider cast too. My guess is the favourites would get the group cover if there was to be one - Annie/Sandra/Rihanna/Cate. But actually Mindy Kaling, Sarah Paulson, Helena Bonham Carter and Awkwafina would certainly make for a more interesting cover I'm sure.

Who knows. It will more than likely be Annie and be some odd composite of the group together. The whole plot of the Met Gala and stealing diamonds from the Hollywood starlet whilst wearing couture does sound like someone asked Anna for plot ideas.
