Kim has always been fond of Cher, I think she even cosplayed her for Halloween or an event once. But there's bad blood between Naomi and Kim/Kendall. Truth be told I don't care for either Kim or Naomi. Cher is the one I will look forward to. But it will probably be shot by Sorrenti again, against a digital backdrop. Pity these Icons edits trend so much because the new EIC won't be able to cut Carine loose.

Vogue partnered with Amazon a few times for their September issue sales so it could just be another deal of sorts being brokered, but wouldn't it be hilarious if they'd feature Lauren considering WSJ just exposed her as the one who leaked his nudes (via her brother. ). Just last week I saw a clip (some IG story?) of Vogue's 'mother of the year' twerking with her child in arms. I predict she will do something even worse in the coming years. So yes, she was certainly the worst cover choice in American Vogue's entire history.

I mean, I’m not foolish enough to believe that social media is a perfect or realistic indicator of friendship, but how much “bad blood” could Naomi and Kim really have when Naomi stays commenting on nearly all of Kim’s Instagram photos? And has for like a couple years now? I feel like Naomi likes to play up the media hype of “bad blood” between the two but is actually pretty friendly with her.

I will also look forward to Cher the most in this, it seems like it could be interesting if done well.

With regards to Billie, even though I wouldn't call myself a fan, she's had such a tremendous year or two in terms of commercial and critical success, that I wouldn't have an issue with her scoring a cover at all. The potential issue is that I find her personal style hideous, yet at the same time I respect how clearly defined and (relatively) unique it is, and that it's radically un-sexual. That's quite a feat for a young American pop star. I'm not sure I'd want Vogue try to shape her in its own image.
