I also feel like Michaela Coel is going to get a major American cover soon-ish. “I May Destroy You” is up for several Emmy Awards next month and I’m certain she will win at least for writing. Then she’s got her new book coming out in September, too. I’m reminded of Phoebe Walker-Bridge, who got a Vogue cover after a long run of accolades, when she didn’t really have anything left to promote. Not that Michaela will get Vogue (though I hope she does) but she’d be a great choice for Elle, Vanity Fair, or HB, too.

Of course Michaela has Black Panther 2 out next summer, though, so perhaps she’ll get a cover closer to that.

At this present moment in time, I am all Zendaya'd OUT but it would've been truly wonderful to see Zendaya through the lens of Steven Meisel for British Vogue. Nevertheless, keen to see what McDean has done (and hoping there's more compelling fashion content as opposed to September).

Also not in the mood for Lorde on the cover of American Vogue, who I always think looks miserable as sin! Michaela Coel for British Elle sounds far more exciting, and Elle's covers have been terrific of late - so here's to hoping something great is about to drop!

Kristen Stewart is a fave of British Harper’s Bazaar, so perhaps Lydia Slater has secured her for a cover and regardless of the outcome, I’d take a K. Stew cover of Harper’s Bazaar over an eyesore of a Beyoncé reprint!

God, I only saw the thumbnail of her Vogue video and despite the ruby Prada (?) bralette and shrug she's wearing, she still looks like someone who had been put through the wringer for a solid 20 years. It was reason enough for me not to watch the vid.

But for now it's hard to say whether or not that will happen.

Since there hasn't been any Magazine information on Her leaked so far.

Re Kristen Stewart, I think if she couldn't even get a US Vogue cover as a Chanel ambassador and while Karl was still alive, then it will be even harder for her to get one now. We all know how Karl used to go on and on about his muses. At some point, he must've 'suggested' she get a cover. He may well be the reason why Kristen somehow managed to get 3 UK Harper's covers under Justine, who was obsessed with all things Chanel/Karl.

To be fair, Kristen did get a cover back in 2011, and since she's kept a relatively low profile. I mean, she didn't really have big film projects between the Twilight/Snow White era until Charlie's Angels. Almost a decade. She had a couple of buzzy French movies, sure, and some indie films, but they weren't really seen here. She hasn't really been in the zeitgeist consistently. Spencer is the most talked about thing she's done in a decade and if her performance lives up to the buzz, it will be hard for Vogue to ignore her entirely.

I'd far rather an underused talented celebrity like Lorde than another Kardashian/Jenner cover or Zendaya's 14th magazine cover of the year to promote a Spider Man movie.

In a botoxed and nepotism filled world we should be raising women like Lorde up who aren't bowing to societal pressure over looks and have made their own way to the top.

I think Lorde *does* love fashion, she just isn't a label wh*re and isn't someone who needs to be photographed at every event or put herself out there on social media. I mean, for all we know she wears couture daily, she's so private we'd never know. I remember reading an article where she said Grace Jones was a style inspiration and that Comme des Garcons, Simone Rocha, and Miu Miu were some of her favorite brands Not the most obscure choices ever, but it certainly indicates she pays attention and values individuality and her own aesthetic over whatever the current hype is.

Not excited for covers with Lorde and even less for Kristen, the only person who managed to make her look interesting was (I don't know who) for Interview Magazine.

About Ana, I hope she appears in something big, I love her Vogue Mexico and I'm rooting for her to be the first Latina to win an Oscar for best actress.

I heard that Netflix and the director are fighting over final cut of Blonde, so Ana’s Oscar chances will be delayed another year.
