I love these games Ben! My money's on Kristen Stewart to coincide with the release of Spencer. The Diana mythologizing/nostalgia is so strong in the US right now, it would make sense.

Adele for UK Vogue by Meisel would be great. For some reason, I don't really see her covering US Vogue. Adele is a Brit after all and Edward has been really savvy with his cover choices lately. It would be quite the coup, especially with her 'new' look.

I've been racking my brain trying to think of someone who's much loved and been in the press for months and came up with nothing.

Now that you mention Britney, it makes so much sense, especially for the US! And Britney on the cover of US Vogue would certainly get tongues wagging, no matter the result. Perhaps with a global theme celebrating "freedom" or something corny like that. I can definitely see it!

I'd love it, but Britney feels more Vanity Fair than Vogue no? Also, didn't her father only just get removed? And there's another court date in the coming weeks to suspend the conservatorship altogether...seems like a VF tell-all after that would make more sense, but who knows! It would be an amazing surprise to see Britney back on US Vogue that's for sure.

I'm still betting on UK Vogue Nov: Adele, US Vogue Nov: Gaga.

I thought by liking @crmsnsnwflks post I confirmed it, it is indeed Adele.
Don't know anything about her getting the UK Vogue cover as well or how that rumour started. In fact I dunno who'd be on their November cover at all.

The photographer is an established name, but this will be his first US Vogue cover. Can be a bit hit or miss imo, but generally solid work. His signature is synonymous with UK Vogue under Alexandra Shulman. Especially towards the end.

Maybe Edward doesn't want to repeat the same mistake of Alexandra and have a cover with low sales... After all this will be Adele's 3rd cover for US Vogue and she only has one for the British edition.

Now I'm even more curious to know what Vogue UK has in store for us...

It'd be very odd for 2 flagship Vogue editions to share a cover star, especially someone like Adele. There's no shortage of A to D listers who could be covered. In that case Edward would really be better off paying an unknown wedding photographer peanuts to shoot them lot from Loose Women. They may even perform better on the newsstand.
