I doubt. I really think Anna is going to shock with the December cover again, making Edward to kiss the dust.

Anna hasn't shocked anyone in over 30 years.

Anna is succeeding well beyond anyone else in fashion magazines when it comes to digital content (which I think we all know is the future, unfortunately) and last year's December issue was the most talk-about and best-selling issue of Vogue in a long, long time. Based on the responses here (notably and recently in the best cover of such-and-such month polls), her covers are more well-received than many would think, too. The quality isn't what it used to be, but that's true of every mainstream magazine in every region, pretty much. Whoever replaces her will likely not reverse course, and in all likelihood they will also be less savvy about keeping the Vogue brand relevant.

To be fair, the October issue with Nicole was just such a stunning triumph, I have to assume it's selling like hotcakes and they want it on newstands as long as possible.

Germanotta is certainly NOT on the cover of American Vogue's Christmas issue, let's me just squash that right now. God, one Vogue cover is bad enough but two in the same month??

And although I don't know this for sure, I'm convinced Meisel would not shoot her British Vogue cover. He, like many of us, still remember and associate her with the Fame Monster era. God, what an era.
But I may well be proven wrong. I'd wager Nick shot her again.

She's harmless but not for me. Honestly, this year American Vogue's cover stars are very hit and miss. Most of whom I don't actually care.

But can we talk about Vogue France? I'm excited to find out who will appear on Eugenie's debut cover!

When last did that happen? Not under Alt, maybe not even under Carine too.

I will say that I’m not that surprised that Gaga didn’t get American Vogue (even if I would’ve liked to see it), but for sure she’s getting British Vogue?

Chastain for Vogue US? she hasn’t appeared in any cover and she’s meant to be promoting that series with Oscar Isaac and ‘The Eyes of Tammy Faye’… sounds like a strong contender to me play she hasn’t been on any other glossy.
