Oh HELL to the no for an Ella Emhoff cover of Vogue (any edition of Vogue, for that matter). Steven Meisel could be involved and I very much doubt I'd be interested. Never been a one to rant about these 'daughter of...' types but Emhoff would be a resounding no from me.

This. CMIIW but isn’t her ‘career milestone’ so far is only having a talked-about inauguration style? She may be signed and did some shows but no one seems to particularly care for her as a model.

You're not wrong, and frankly not *that* many people even cared about her Inauguration outfit. The establishment tried to make her happen, but the public interest just isn't there. If you ask me, her personal style is both atrocious and extremely typical so she wont make it as true style star - though now that I think about it, atrocious and typical describes quite a few fashion influencers, so you never know!

She hasn't been able to turn her time in the spotlight, the subsequent opportunities, and the industry push into something notable. She kinda flopped. I know Instagram isn't the whole picture, but she has amassed only few hundred thousand followers after all that exposure? Amanda Gorman took her moment from the same event and turned it into 10x that number, for comparison.

Ella Emhoff had been signed to a small modeling agency BEFORE the inauguration. She had also been in discussion about potentially signing with IMG before the inauguration as well.

Not surprising because In the past few years there has been a goldrush for models that can also pull off an "ugly-chic" look a la Alessandro MIchele's/Gucci looks.

I enjoyed Ella's Balenciaga runway look. Different than what we are used to. She could have a lot more potential as a model if she embraced a shape-shifting look. Perhaps clients are insisting on her being styled "ugly-chic" in order to mimic the Gucci circa-now effect.

She's launching a small knitwear line next month.

Having said that, any other insinuation that Ella may get another cover may be the work of a troll. In any case, random blind items from Deux-Moi aren't legit rumours in my view.

Yes let’s be real she’s not a great model. No one knew of her until Inauguration Day. Then she secured big shows right after inauguration. She used to knit and had a knit line before in 2020 & 2021.
I find her insufferable so I’d rather not see her in any magazines.

According to Instyle's old media kit here onsale date was supposed to be today.
Maybe they tacked on a +april on the gigi hadid issue and called it a day.

Yes, I've been wondering about this as well since last week. Is there something wrong with the potential cover subject? Maybe Edward is now doing damage control as we speak by changing it?

British Vogue's April issue is due to be on sale March 29th, @[B]ivano[/B], so I would imagine we should be seeing the cover shortly - perhaps mid-week! Who is on the cover is anyone's guess but I'm still rooting for Sienna Miller by Lachlan Bailey.

Yasmeen Ghauri has Instagram! I hope she gets her comeback as Kristen McMenamy. Everybody is waiting for a Meisel reunion (campaign -Moschino- or British Vogue). I saw a picture of her from 2016 and she was stunning.

I just checked Laura Brown’s Instagram and you’re right. 2 days ago she reposted the Gigi cover with the caption “final issue”. Oh well!
