Cover Rumor Thread

For those interested, Charlotte Casiraghi is on the cover of French Vanity Fair Feb 2026.

The issue is 122 pages, there's also a reprint of that unflattering photographic portfolio of US politicians from US VF, and a tribute to Martin Parr.

Casiraghi is a beauty. Unfortunately, this is not a good shot of her. She is much more prettier in my eyes.

Vanity Fair Italia's Valentino tribute digital cover.

A red Valentino dress from his fall/winter 1991 ready-to-wear collection.

This is how you do a tribute cover. Not like Vogue Italia's lazy effort.

I still wish I saw Valentino's favorite supermodels doing a group shoot dressed in red dressed instead of this or what Vogue Italia has done. Even a black and white portrait of Valentino would have been better than this sorry. A close up of a bow doesn't say ''tribute'' to me, especially presented this way, like we could all have done this with our phones. Hence the need of real high fashion photographers to produce real iconic covers to remain present in our mind and resonate with this or that designer. At least that's the idea I have for tributes for modeling legends.

I agree, that would be perfect. However, getting all Valentino's favorite supermodels is a huge undertaking, requiring time and scheduling. It is not going to happen in this short time frame. A beautiful collage would have been another option.

Is still think that a bow is better than a block of red on a cover.

I am not sure if this cover is newsstand or digital. @Bertrando3 You manifested this cover. Monsieur Valentino front and center.

ahah I did 😜 but I wished he was looking at the camera, the magazine could have picked another shot of him looking at the lense and a black and white portrait would have been more noble in my eyes, more grand.

Agree! That cover image is awkward.
